When BLM breaks windows, sets fires, and attacks cops - its not longer a protest.

When ANTFIA riot, destroy property, and beat people with bike locks - its no longer a protest.

When butthurt LGBTQQ'ers transport fecal matter to dump on a public park - its no longer a protest.

And I laugh, literally out loud, that you would invoke free speech here when free speech is precisely what these leftist bigots are trying to hinder, what leftists everywhere have been hindering for this past year.

 

Is Kaepernick promoting violence? Is he forcing anyone to do anything? Why do you say he is a degenerate? A bigot? Because he is black? Because he is against bigotry and racism? They aren't, you do realize (well that is questionable), that they are not protesting against the national anthem per se; they are protesting against racism in the US and as the national anthem is a symbol of the US, their protest is a symbolic action against racism. Not that difficult to figure out.

 

Well I didn't invoke Kaepernick but I'll comment on him.

To my knowledge hes not directly promoting violence.

However his cause is one of anti-cop, anti-White, anti-American hate and that does indirectly promote violence so for that reason I'm happy with labeling him a degenerate and a bigot.

As for his Black skin color, the only bearing that is in the justification liberalism has for support his bigotry and his racism.

Sure would be nice if they were honest and took into account that many of those teams shown in those pictures are losing teams with no playoff chances (especially the Browns) or teams in cities that don't draw much attention anyway like LA. `

 

So, it's your contention that the audience drop off is unrelated to the dishonoring of our anthem? In my circle, which is anecdotal evidence only, it is exactly why we aren't watching football this year. It ruined it. How can one identify with someone and enjoy watching them excel at their craft when you know they hate you and hold you in contempt?

The first thing I have to say is that your attitude and voice are aggressive and bullying. I know that nothing I will say will change what you choose to think or your attitude. Since there is no shortage of media coverage for these players, his choice of when to protest shows disrespect for those who fought and died on the battlefield so he can run around on a playing field.

I probably paged through one or two in the 80's. Now, every once in awhile I'll get a free one sent to me for some reason. It goes into the recycle bin with plastic wrap intact.

 

Who cares? We didn't hate them, we supported enjoyed and emotionally invested in them and they returned this with hate, malevolence and the dishonoring of us as a nation.

So, a significant group of us have found other ways to spend our Sunday afternoons.

Why should I give of my time and finances to someone who feels that sort of disdain for us?

Similar to Hollywood. I keep track of every actor and actress who goes off on Conservatives in a hate-filled rant and they get no more of my time, money or attention.

But, big deal, there are lots of other potential customers in America for them to attempt to attract and hold the attention and they are welcome to each other!
