Over 90% of Europeans said they would have voted for Obama

More than 90 percent of northern Europeans would vote for President Barack Obama if they were able to cast ballots in the United Sates' election next week because they see Mitt Romney as too right wing, British pollster YouGov said on Wednesday.

This is what I have been saying. America has become brainwashed sheep. People will vote for Romney just because he’s Republican and they have been brainwashed to do so. Regardless of the Candidate, even if Satan himself ran – Republicans would vote for him. What is interesting is, the Europeans do not have the bias as we do. They are looking at each candidate as what they are – people and what they say – and if THEY ARE TELLING LIES!! They do not make up excuses for a candidate when they lie, it gets registered and that candidate will be judged on that lie.

This is why I like news “outside” of the United States dealing with us, because it’s the only way I can see through the bull(*)(*)(*)(*) of our media here. The popular vote was close. It shouldn’t have been. Romney was a lying idiot and had no plan for jack squat. The Europeans saw that. They are not like the sheep we have here that would vote for a Howard the Duck if he was representing their party…

Let me explain it to you because I know some of you have troubles understanding. If you have voted repeatedly for one party without even looking at other candidates from other parties (because there are a lot of 3rd party candidates) then you are brainwashed. Do you understand that? You are brainwashed! BRAINWASHED!!! There is no excuse to walk in to 31 Flavors Ice Cream Parlor and then order a scoop of vanilla, without even “looking” at the selection. You have funny ideas about what constitutes Socialism. Europeans, who have experienced Socialism (and numerous other -isms) have a more realistic idea about what Socialism actually is.

I would imagine if you ran polls in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, they too would have said no to Romney.

Basically, the world does not like Mitt and that type of image and politics.

I'm surprised it's taken this long for the Republican party to finally start losing popular support, actually. They've been disconnected from reality and the changing American populace for a while, and now we're finally starting to get caught up.

It's time for a better conservative option, preferably an honest, responsible, non-religious, fiscally conservative option.. Let's see a rise of the Libertarian party, which is also long overdue. Maybe others can come up with them, like the Greens. We need fresh ideas and modern leadership.

I agree with you on one point though, he was running for the president of the United States of America. He wasn't running in Germany or the UK or France or Norway and there are so many issues that American politicians have to deal with that people who don't live in America would prioritize differently. Lastly, in a democracy the government is supposed to represent the view of its people, not everyone else.

Oh, now your standard is Northern Europe. For years we were told how we need to be more like Europe, but now it's only certain countries in Europe. For a while it was Germany, but now that they are having problems, you can't use them as an example of Eurosocialist success, can you? Pretty soon after Sweden and Norway start suffocating, you guys will move the goal posts to certain sections of Europe. "See! We need to be like them!"

 

I don't feel like explaining what has been happening to Europe over the last several decades to you, since we both know you are incapable of understanding the argument.
