    You are the only one putting forth "Lies and false accusations" --- now trying to project your actions onto me .. and trying to cover up those falsehoods .. such as your claim that I defaulted to Religious Myth .. and you did not Quote Me ever engaging in such.. your claim that you did a further falsehood .. It was you that built the Strawman .. Not me .. I have not attributed any words to you that you did not speak.

    Prove your claim and post what was attributed to you .. that you did not speak. This is another falsehood on your part .. followed by running from the playground calling names and blaming others for your deeds.

    Why are you quoting Psudipigrapha .. 2 Peter was not written by Peter .. but anyhow the scripture is Talking about the Judgement a Judgement you don't believe in - least not for yourself .. being one of those who mock the Truth .. following own "desires"-man made dogma .. following the man made idol/ideology .. and selling free passes through Judgement.

    There is no Truth in bypassing the Word of our Lord -- bypassing his Justice .. seated at the right hand of the Father .. exercising authority bestowed unto him by the Father.. and you think to bypass and usurp this authority .. spreading the "Free Pass" idiology .. telliing folks you got a free pass through Judgement for them called "Sola Fide"

    "What happened to the Promise" Indeed Brother Todd .. what happened to the promise of Judgement ?

    Thats right Mitt ... Jesus was not a myth .. nor a made up character .. but your beliefs about Jesus are based the myth and the made up. Particularly the made up in your case.. Belief that Jesus is the "Most High God" . .. and that silly free pass ideology from Idol Martin.

    A wonderfull dream of God's peace Todd .. a pretty fairy tale to be sure .. but Christ came to bring a Sword not Peace did he not ?

    This is not a message of Peace .. but a message of strife and suffering .. and guess the apostles did not finish going through the towns of Israel because the Son of Man never came.


    ABBA on the hand - something completely different .. as this is "The Father" .. who is not Jesus .. not even in the Trinty are these personages the same... Perhaps we can find there a God who brings Peace but, to make this assessment we first need to know who "The Father" is .. YHWH - EL - EA - Ahura Mazda ? --- Which God is being referred to here ?

    One thing can be said for sure is that YHWH aka "The War God of the Israelites" doesn't fit the Bill ..

    There is only one true God, and that God is the Christian God, the Triune God consisting of the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), the Holy Spirit.

    There are no other gods gift, it wouldn't make sense if there were. It only takes one God to create everything that exists, so the Christian God is the Most High above everything else that exists for He brought everything else into existence.

    Everything that came into existence had a beginning. But God being the Eternal One had no beginning, has no end, He simply exists, He is the Creator Almighty God!

    Furthermore, belief in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior will save you from punishment of your sins and you will see yourself in Heaven one day living with the Creator Almighty God forever in eternity in His Kingdom of Heaven. He will wipe every tear from our eyes, there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain, all those things are gone forever.

    We Read in Scripture:

    4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” Revelation 21:4 NLT

    Wonderful Story Mitt .. contradicted by the Bible .. but there are many contradictions in the Bible so let us go with your version.

    So tell me about this One God of the Bible Mitt -- this Christian God -- What is the name of this God .. and what does this God wish of us .. how can one be put right with this God .. which commands from this God are we to follow in order to please this God .. and what should we not do .. to incur the wrath of this God.. .

    You can not answer any of these tough questions Mitt -- because you have chosen not the path of light .. nor of sight .. but I Need a good crop year Mitt . What prayer should I recite .. and who should I recite it to ?

    So tell me about this One God of the Bible Todd -- this Christian God -- What is the name of this God who Jesus refers to as "The Father" - This God to whome Jesus calls out to and prays to.. .. and what does this God wish of us .. how can one be put right with this God .. which commands from this God are we to follow in order to please this God .. and what should we not do .. to incur the wrath of this God.. .

    Who is your Prayer to Todd ? You don't have to be ashamed if your prayer is to YHWH .. is this the God you pray to ?

    There is only one Supreme God, He is known by many names. You ran your point into the ground long ago. Look into your heart , prideful one and ask forgiveness for your sins.

    Well Great .. God is One... and good to know God a he .. and has many names. care to share one of those names with us .. and tell us what this God requires from us.. from the Bible of course .. not interested in some made up non biblical musings

    I do like your use of the term "Supreme" .. one of the Bibles I use .. YHWH refers a bunch of other Gods as .. "Sons of the Supreme one"

    So.. what is one of the names of this Supreme God -- what what does this God command us to do . to be put right.

    This is the question from the heart of all mankind .. it is not prideful .. and how can I ask forgiveness for some Sin you have made up .. if you have not told us what this God tells us is Sin.

    and then perhaps you need ask forgiveness for Your Sins .. blasphemy in particular -- Not how when I accuse you of sinning I state was the sin was .. thus giving you the ability to ask for forgiveness for commission of such.. Understand how that works Brother Todd .. ?!

    I do not accept your council to put faith in Unseen Demons .. nor the claim that this is the path to eternal life. You have consistently denied the Logos .. and rejected the teachings of Christ with respect to eternal life. Instead you supplant the teachings of another... as do the wolves in sheeps clothing.

    Did you think Sataniel was going to show up with horns, tail and red cape friend ?

    Thats Great Mitt .. So the name of "The Father" - that Jesus so often refers to is what ? --- so that we can know which God to Worship and which God's commands to follow --- can you not answer this "Tough Question" ?! the question you have been dodging for over a decade.

    Hey Todd .. Tell us the name of this God - upon who's authority Jesus acts .. in which you have faith .. and what sayeth this God about how to get eternal life. What must we do Todd .. not according to silly Dogma .. but from the God of the Bible who you wish to introduce us to .. by telling us the name of this God .. and for the same reason Moses asked when God accosted him

    So ...do not keep us waiting any longer .. and tell us the name of this Great God you worship.

    I don't think its that easy.

    Judaism is the religion of god's chosen people.

    Jesus came and invalidated that religion.

    Christianity today is centered on Jesus, and I'm pretty sure this is not resolved by saying there are "many names".

    This doesn't seem like the outcome god would have planned.

    The name issue is one of the biggest --- Which God's directions does one follow in order to gain salvation ? The God of Jesus .. or the God of Moses .. or the God of Abraham ? This issue is complicated further by the fact that many of these directives contradict each other .. making it necessary to know which God's directive to follow.. in order to follow the right directive.

    Mitt and friends seem to think this is a Joke .. or some kind of Trap to be avoided .. but they are only trapping themselves !? how is one to gain eternal live if one does not know which directives to follow ?

    Jesus tells us in the second last verse of his most famous Sermon (on the mount - the Sermon which is about what one must do to recieve eternal life --- "Only those that do the will of the Father" --- make it through the pearly gates sayeth the Lord.

    One can not do the will of the Father .. if one does not know Which God's directives to follow !

    God A says kill the child for the Sins of the Parent -- God B says children are not to be killed for the Sins of the Parent

    Which must I follow to achieve eternal life ? A or B ? and better guess right because only one is the "Will of the Father" and one must choose correctly and do the will of the Father in order to be granted the prize .. Eternal life.

    Which God are we to follow Brother Todd .. God A or God B ?

    There is only one Judeo/Christian God. The apparent differences are in owing to our own lack of understanding. IE: Are we inclined to Jesus the helpless, gurgling infant. Or Jesus the adult who spoke with authority. Two seemingly different settings, but the same person. As a child, his Parents were bound to a set of laws in his upbringing. Then he set out on his own in fulfillment of their labors and sacrifices. Such is Judaism to his coming.

    Jesus was/is not a Christian. He was/is the Jewish Messiah. His birth and new light in the sky was the rebirth of Judaism. He is the first fruits of that old tree. Jesus is not a different God, but the same God. He himself said he didn't come to do away with the law and prophets, but to fulfill. Then he added that the remainder of the law and prophets would remain in effect until the heavens and earth pass away. In other words, the remainder of Judaism will be perfected and come to fruition just as did the law and prophets realized in his birth, because it is the work of God the Father.

    It is what it is. And men divide the matter in two among themselves. So if there is the appearance of contradiction, then it is to us to wait upon the truth in patience and faith. What else is there to do. Like Peter said to Jesus when many of his followers were falling away, and Jesus asked his remaining Disciples if they would leave too, Peter responded, "To whom shall we go. Thou hast the words of eternal life."

    Yours is the view of Christianity, or at least of many Christian denominations.

    All three major branches of the Abrahamic faith believe in the same god. There isn't any real question about that. They all believe in the single god of the OT.

    But, Jesus invalidated the OT religion in the only way it really matters - how one becomes acceptable enough to go to heaven, how one must follow that god.

    In that respect, Jesus gutted Judaism, the religion of God's people.

    And, I think you will find that Christian theologians agree with Peter - that Judaism as a valid religion no longer existed then, and no longer exists today.

    They'd have it wrong. The birth of Jesus wasn't the end of Judaism. It was its rebirth according to Judaism. Essentially it was a new beginning. Jesus was its first fruits. The rest of the law and prophets will also come to fruition in following Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ himself said so. Jesus said: "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
    For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Matthew 5:17-18
    He also said: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."
    The mission of Jesus Christ was not the end of God the Fathers work. He was obeying the Fathers orders and will, not his own will. And he said as much, many times. But I guess that people are free to believe what they want.

    You're just strengthening my point.

    And, remember what YOU quoted Peter as saying. Peter fully recognized that Jesus conquered Judaism.

    I'm not accusing Jesus of making any bad decisions or going off on his own wrt the will of his father.

    The point I'm making is that Jesus killed Judaism - at least if you believe Jesus. The perfection of Jesus isn't at question here in this issue.

    I don't see Jesus as having made the moves that would have brought along Judaism into the future. He exacerbated conflicts with Judaism to the extent that they put him to death! There is no possible statement stronger than that.

    According to Christianity, Jesus did have to be executed. But, if the intent was to bring along Judaism WITH him, as an "improvement" or as a fulfillment of prophecy, it's unlikely that POing Judaism to the point of executing him was a way to accomplish that.

    Let's remember that he spent his time with common man, fomenting conflict with Judaism - and Rome, as historians of the day (such as Tacitus) point out. He didn't work within the religion to point out the prophecy, work to convert them to a new future of Judaism. In fact, he's more noted for being seriously upset with those leading Judaism.

    From the point of view of Judaism, the religion of God's chosen people, Jesus ASSURRED Judaism that they could not see Jesus as fulfilling prophecy.

    Jesus himself said that all the laws and prophecies in Judaism will remain in effect until heaven and earth pass away. That's not killing Judaism. That's justifying it. The laws and prophecies of Judaism are like a four thousand year old tree that bore fruit in the birth and mission of Jesus Christ. That tree will continue to bear divine fruit following Jesus Christ until all the laws and prophecies of Judaism are fulfilled, and Gods work is done. Jesus himself said so in the scripture I quoted. You are confusing Judaism and Christianity as practiced by men as if they are the true practice of the religion. They aren't. They are what men have done to it. It is men who divide the matter, not God. Those who hold to Judaism and reject Jesus Christ are like those who hold to the Father and reject his Son. And those who hold to Jesus Christ and reject Judaism are like those who hold to the Son and reject his Father. Thus you are left with a childless Father and a Fatherless child. But in true religion they are one.
