Party’s Over: Trump Orders Purge of ‘Critical Race Theory’ from Federal Agencies

I used to defend CNN until Lemmon made that comment and the network simply refused to even address it.
I’m sure Lemmon would go into a rage if someone said “most Black people are... (whatever negative thing).“
Gets back to the whole it is impossible for Black people to be racist thing.

 

The issues they have are taking on water. Hiring is vastly better than expected and the economy is picking back up despite the uproar over the Kung Flu. Things may improve to a point where we can stop paying people to stay home....

I've done a lot of driving lately across the lower Michigan / northern Ohio / northern Indiana area. Trump signs are on about one in every five properties: some are banners LITERALLY the side of a barn. Michigan isn't that political. That percentage of yard signs is so unusual it just overwhelms me. We're on fire here.

There are no Biden signs anywhere. Up on US-12 between Chicago and Detroit are similar displays. There are yard signs for Democrat state and even federal representatives...but not one single sign for Biden.

I won't take that --- yet --- as ... yes I'm gonna go there ... a sign.

 

Or, alternately, many are self-hating whites. At first the notion may seem extreme but consider the degree of negativity so many libs display in so many of their posts. It's admittedly tough to fight an uphill battle when the facts of Trump's successes are there to see and defeat you.

The perception of racism and victimization will never go away as long as it pays to keep people believing this. Government hand outs and special rights are much easier than proving oneself in school and the workplace.
The truth is that these handouts and special rights are leading to a perception even within the communities that they can’t make it on their own. They are also feeding resentments from other communities which leads to disrespect which leads to a notion that disrespect hurts people’s feelings (which is cynically said to be just as bad or worse than physical violence) which leads to the justification of violence.

And yes, self hating whites is a real thing and also practiced by people who think they can’t make it on their own.

 

I'm a bit hard pressed to see what your comment has to do with critical race theory. If you want to start a thread on "draft dodger Trump," then that sounds like a lot of fun and you should do it. It sounds like you have a lot of original ideas on the topic that are brand new and have never occurred to anyone before.

There are never Trump signs here in extreme lefty SF Bay area where I like for good reasons. Trigger liberals will literally vandalize you car or home.

I have only seen two Joe Biden yard signs & I travel quite a bit throughout the area for my job. 4 years ago there were hundreds or thousands of Crooked Hillary signs.

I'm sure it's a weird dynamic, but not an uncommon one. It seems odd to me, but it's very common for the most virulent hate whitey types have white SO's. Remember Sarah Jeong, who's anti white tweets raised a stink when she was hired to the NYT editorial board?

I've seen a bare handful of signs FOR incumbent-incompetent Gretchen Whitmer and a lot more calling for her removal. Wording changes but the sentiment's the same. Git 'er gone. An exception is a barn-banner for Biden put up by a 2,000%-hemorrhoid neighbor of mine on the side of his house. Fortunately, I can't see it from my property. Fortunately for HIM it is well off the ground.

 

Wheeler and Brown need to go not because they are liberal but because they choose not to protect the GENERAL welfare of their electorate. They are allowing themselves to be the puppets of their party bosses who will be more than happy to throw them under the bus when the political winds change.
They should be gone because they have no backbone and have no independent belief system.
They should be gone because they are weak and content to be weak.
Whitmer is exactly the same. She thought she was on Biden’s short list for VP and sacrificed her state at the great altar of Covid to please the DNC and now she will get nothing from them including no protection from a recall if that happens.

I think this smothering attempt will suffer the same problem as the left trying to force the right to think certain things. They'll quietly rebel - reminds me of Trump trying to purge the words "climate change" out of gov. sites. Won't work ( i.e. won't have the desired effect)
