You're right it's not illegal, but it is illegal not to report it, which Podesta didn't on his disclosure form.http://investmentwatchblog.com/john...-lying-about-holding-75k-russian-bank-shares/

Podesta never pulled out when be became Hildabeast's campaign Manager then failed to disclose. BTW Podesta had contact with the Russians too. The investigations of HRC were done by a biased DOJ, there's a new sheriff in town.

Because after the 8th investigation said she wasn't guilty, I accepted it.

Then why was he under investigation during the campaign, and apparently STILL under investigation. I never said he was guilty, All I have ever said is that there is enough evidence that has been released, and enough evidence in the public space to warrant one. After 5 people in your campaign are caught lying about the very same thing, maybe that should spur an investigation ? Be honest with yourself and tell me that if that was HRC, that you wouldn't want an investigation ?

The contradiction is on the right. They are the ones asking for an investigation on with no evidence, and then denying one when their is evidence.

They got the evidence thru traditional means. One does not have to surveil the Trump campaign, they only need to surveil the Russians (Which they do anyway).

Fine, then Podesta should go to jail also. But thats a huge red herring to the discussion at hand. If Hillary won the election, and there was this much evidence, I would want her investigated the vary same as I am asking for Trump now

    Podesta is screwed:

Podesta joined the executive board of Joule Unlimited Technologies — a firm partly financed by Putin’s Russia — in June 2011 and received 100,000 shares of stock options, according to an email uncovered by WikiLeaks. Podesta’s membership on the board of directors of Joule Unlimited was first revealed in research from Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large and Government Accountability Institute (GAI) President Peter Schweizer.
Podesta never disclosed his position on Joule Unlimited’s board of directors and failed to include the stock payout in his federal financial disclosures, as required by law, before he became President Obama’s senior adviser in January 2014 — a possible violation for federal law, according to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group (TheDCNF).

    WikiLeaks is never wrong.

So the Clintons have EVERY politician, every law enforcement agent, and every intelligence agent in their pocket ?

Im not defending the Cintons in any way shape or form. But the defense every time nothing is found on them is that they "were let off because they must be guilty" is getting to the point of being almost farcical. Is EVERYONE in a position of authority "biased" to the Clintons ?

Again, if Clinton won the election, and there was the same amount of evidence that she may have done it with the help of a foreign power I would ask the very same questions and demand the very same actions I am now

John Podesta never disclosed his connection to the Russians. Looks like the Clinton campaign and the Democrats are pointing fingers in the wrong direction. How corrupt are these people? It just never ends for them. Scandal after scandal after scandal.

The Schedule B section of the federal government’s form 278 which — requires financial disclosures for government officials — required Podesta to “report any purchase, sale or exchange by you, your spouse, or dependent children … of any property, stocks, bonds, commodity futures and other securities when the amount of the transaction exceeded $1,000.”

    Podesta’s
form 278 Schedule B is blank regarding his receipt of any stock from any company.

You seem to make the grand assumption that the Trump campaign was the target ? Or that Trump himself was the target ? Unless I misunderstand your post, do you not accept that the US Intelligence community is constantly surveilling foreign powers ? Maybe the Trump campaign was caught up when they communicated with the Russian government ?

LOL! Of course, the Trump campaign was the target. Stop pretending you know nothing about the how intelligence agencies work to persecute and suppress opposition to the status quo.

“Since only urgent necessity justifies invasion of First Amendment freedoms, the intelligence establishment, in ironic deference to the need for a justification, consistently exaggerates the threat of revolution and violence. Thus a permanently endangered national security is the illegitimate child of the First Amendment. Political intelligence is a by-product of diplomatic and military conflict, and despite its domestic providence, is marked by a similar hostility toward the intelligence target (itself a revealingly hostile term of art). Like its military model, even though the target is an American national engaged in lawful political activities in his own country, he is viewed in an adversary context. Life in a relatively open society, which boasts of its freedom, makes the target enormously vulnerable when his policies come under hostile investigation by a secret police unit with an anti-subversive Mission.” The Age of Surveillance, The Aims and Methods of America's Political intelligence System, Frank J. Donner, Alfred A. Knopf, Inc., New York, 1980. p. 4.

Of course, the spookies never thought Trump would actually win and be in a position to prosecute the leakers for violating the Espionage Act. ;-)

Targeting the campaign staff and the transition team is targeting Trump. This has not been subtle.

“That all of these officials committed major crimes can hardly be disputed. In January, CNN reported that Flynn’s calls with the Russians “were captured by routine U.S. eavesdropping targeting the Russian diplomats.” That means that the contents of those calls were “obtained by the processes of communication intelligence from the communications of [a] foreign government,” which in turn means that anyone who discloses them — or reports them to the public — is guilty of a felony under the statute.” THE INTERCEPT, The Leakers Who Exposed Gen. Flynn’s Lie Committed Serious — and Wholly Justified — Felonies, By, Glenn Greenwald, February 14 2017.

Would they have risked committing these serious felonies if they had thought Trump would win?

The guilt of Hillary was in the facts provided. Undisputed and verified by Comey. Unfortunately the American people were robbed of a trial. And all while that investigation was open, the Democrats defended her actions, even as the proof was identified.

Last I heard there is no evidence of collusion between Trump and the Russians so the Democrats create a narrative of speculation to give the illusion of wrongdoing.

Proof that the attorney general met secretly and privately with the spouse of a person under investigation and the Democrats see no reason for the attorney general to recuse herself nor did they see a reason for an independent investigation, yet without evidence are demanding Republicans recuse themselves from the Trump investigations and begin an independent investigation.

Logically, this fails and provides evidence of pure partisanship.

Actually they were lost, then found in 2009 and turned over to the National Archives.

That was with puppets for Attorney General's. Let's see how that goes with a true independent AG.

It truly was. The same people that could not connect the dots between the Clinton foundation, Hillary's role as secretary of state, the emails and Bill's speech engagements are able to connect dots between Trump and Russia with no evidence.

No matter how long you push the Clinton train, she there was never evidence of guilt. NOBODY denied that she had a private server, nor that she had classified emails sent to her on that server. But what the right fails to grasp is that for guilt to be proven there had to be intent, which they could not prove. And FTR, I think what she did was egregiously wrong. I never defended what she did, because it was incredibly stupid.

Yes, the AG should have recused herself. What she did was incredibly stupid. But ask yourself this.....What power did Bill have over her that would make him beholden to him or her ?

But your moving the goalposts on what I was referring to. There is a LOT of smoke here that says the Trump campaign was communicating with the Russians. Just because it hasn't been made public, the right keeps claiming it non-existent even before any investigation. And more comes out every day. Can you honestly tell me that if everything that happened here was tied to a Dem, you would be claiming no investigation was necessary ?

Even with the new Nunes revelations this week ?
