And then they dropped the charges because they knew nothing they had would stick, and now is being sued. Yeah...real smart of em.

They dropped the charges because wasn't worth the hassle of dealing with the black matters mob. That's what our justice system has come to. It isn't about the law, it's about politics and the path of least resistance.

They dropped the charges before any of this became a part of the news. All of this happened back in May. Try again.

You just made my point. It wasn't worth dealing with the black lives matter bullshit.

It's not reasonable to suspect a person watering flowers to be committing a crime etc etc.
And because of that the stop and questioning becomes illegal... plain as day.

    Doesn't matter.
They illegally stopped, questioned and cuffed him.

They can arrest you for giving an awkward eye when walking by.
That's where you can file a lawsuit against what happened and win.
    Even black people.

    1. He wasn't stopped. He was questioned because they received a call about suspicious activity.

    2. He wasn't illegally questioned. They had a legal obligation to investigate and, there's no such thing as illegally questioning someone.

    3. He obstructed justice.

    4. Black folks aren't exempt from the law.

Watering flowers is not suspicious activity just because some raving racist sees a black man watering flowers and finds it a "suspicious activity" in backward small town Alabama where the end of Jim Crow hasn't culturally settled quiet in. And so 2006 Alabama Code - Section 15-5-30 doesn't apply. And so he was illegally questioned. And so there was no obstruction. They arrested him with no grounds, and so the cops are going to lose yet an other lawsuit.

Cops aren't exempt from the law, see. They aint no judge Dredd.

And it's obvious these things happen to black people in the US. It's a thing that every day life things are suspicious when they do it for LOADS of Americans.
While it's just not. That same group would defend cops who wronged black civilians, and they found their way on the internet.
    Maybe a shoe fits somewhere.....

Seeing someone on someone else's property can be considered suspicious. Play the race card all you want, but the cops were obligated to investigate.

They did not illegally stop and question him. They had a valid reason to do so due to the 911 call. It's when they arrested him that they violated his Rights.

Yes it is. And that's why they're getting sued and the taxpayers gonna foot the bill yet again.

And please, stop with the internet tough guy act. It's annoying.

He obstructed an investigation. The charges were dropped because he's black.

    *yawn*
    Go file a complaint then.

And provide proof of your claim. We both know you have none.

That is what they were trying to determine, if there had been one.

They need to do that before they demand he give his ID. 4th amendment is still a thing.

Because they had no reasonable suspicion he was breaking any laws.

No such law exists without reasonable suspicion a law was broken
