That is because you ignore the root cause of the problem.

 

It has to start with people realizing that black people are Americans too, and have every right to exist and not be second class citizens.

Then, it's up to the nation, to include the black community in the rest of the national community. That way all of us Americans can equally be told to stand up on our own two feet and stop thinking the government is there to help us out in every situation.

Education spending has to increase, along with that, as a nation we have to hold individuals to account for their actions, and not blame an entire population for the behavior of a few people.

That way we can tell certain aspects of people that acting like jackasses is NOT okay anymore, and that bad behavior is not tolerable. And some Americans have to stop being angry about every little thing in life. Holy hell, this country needs massive amounts of Valium or something.

No, it's not alright to be perpetually jobless, and pissed off all the time, and swearing and using racial epithets even among your own race. It's not okay to sell drugs, join gangs, be violent, and take yourself out of the culture. At the same time, we have to show Americans they are part of this culture and that they can contribute to this culture successfully, and productively.

 

Let's go one step further. Let's give every Black person over the age of 18 years $1 million dollars in reparations.

 

Malcolm X taught these very same values. He was a great example and a great teacher.

 

APACHERAT, you just brought up something my daughter said a long time ago. She said that no matter how downtrodden and pathetic homeless people look, they still have their cigarettes. And, I might add many of them have dogs with them. How do they feed these dogs, if they can barely eat themselves?

 

How 'bout better teaching resources for the less educated and anti-crime rehabilitation for those who commit crimes? It might be more effective to address the actual problems than throw money at everyone who happens to have a particular color skin.

So far, the consensus is to help the Blacks. I agree. If we do not help them, they will remain as uneducated and as criminals. This would be a pity and a tragedy for all.

Back in 2000-2002 I was a private contractor working with the Parson Corp. in Pasadena, Ca. Pasadena has more than a few hundred homeless. I remember this one homeless lady who had three dogs. I suppose someone dropped a dime and the dog police (SPCA) took away her dogs. She went to court and got one of the dogs back. She had a shopping cart like many of the homeless have in Pasadena and I noticed she always had cans of dog food and a big bag of dog food. Don't know where she got the food. Maybe when she got her free money every month, (General Relief/welfare) dog food is a priority ?

 

Should we refer to them as that Baltimore city council member referred to them as ?

 

Being black doesn't make you either uneducated or a criminal.

I think that's what progressives have been saying for over a hundred years now.

Progressives use science to better society so they say. I've read many of the scientific studies that Progressives conducted during America's progressive era and I came to the conclusion, using the true definition of what a racist is, progressives are racist.

 

Why? It's better than what they call themselves.

The next time you're in a record store take a look at the cover of a rap record and one from Barry Manilow. Manilow is smiling, the rapper intentionally looks menacing and dangerous. Why? Don't the rappers know they're in the same business as Barry Manilow and Boy George? Why the need to intentionally look thuggish?

 

they dont have a national identity, that goes a long way in grounding an individuals character. do you know your heritage, from which european nation your family came from?

 

They are molding their own national identity. With lyrics such as "ima rape yo mama put her in da trunk", as well as Rick Ross's song about having sex with a passed out female.....that's molding their identity. Doesn't sound good.
