And what was the result? They admitted that Hillary mishandled and was very reckless with top secret classified information (a server in her home nonetheless) but no reasonable prosecutor would prosecute. Then, when it comes to a very similar situation with Trump, all of a sudden, a raid on his home is somehow justified and lefties are talking about prosecution.
All credibility, I fear after they went rogue, using the bureau as a political weapon. Even after the 2016-2017 shenanigans, there have been no efforts to fix the FBI. Fixing the FBI (yahoo.com)
You can live in pretend land and word twisting all you want. Everyone knows Zuckerburg was told by the FBI that the Hunter Biden laptop story was nothing but Russian disinformation and to censor any post about it. I'm not going to waste my time with a poster who claims they can't read the story just to go on one of your monkey go rounds. If you don't get it, then you are the only person in the US that doesn't.
Not really. Bill Maher is simply a traditional Liberal, and what Conservatives, conserve, is American Constitutional Liberalism, so the commonalities make perfect sense. And he isn't the voice of reason in the GOP, he is the voice of simple reason in the Democrat Party. And what is admitting is plainly obvious, it's not rocket science. He frustrates me in that this was plainly obvious two years ago when his observations would have had more helpful real world impact, but, I'm also a big believer in better late than never.
Why do people assume im implying hes the voice of reason for Republicans? Im stating he a voice of reason for democrats and its ironic because 5 years ago he was considered an extreme liberal.
When you said "your" I assumed you were referring to me. I understand now that you were referring to democrats. It's not surprising to me at all. Conservatives are conserving American Liberal Democracy. The confusing is that the authoritarian progressives have appropriated the title Liberal, when the last thing they are is liberal. Liberals and Totalitarians are essentially opposites. Progressives taking over the term "Liberal" is the biggest stolen base in American politics. There is nothing particularly brilliant about Bill Maher simply seeing what is so plainly obvious that it's a tripping hazard. We are going to see a lot more of this as these "progressives" become more and more undeniably ruinous. They are more destructive than a swarm of locust and they harm everything they touch. Liberalism on the other hand has a long, real and rich history of liberation. This is an internal conflict with the Democrat party. I remain both hopeful and confident, there are a large number of really fine folks in there that are only now realizing that a bunch of nut burgers have gotten ahold of way too much of the steering wheel. It will be a process, but they will set things right. I think it was Winston Churchill who observed something along the lines of "You can always count on Americans to do the right thing, after they get done trying everything else!"
