Oh sweetie, ive already texas two-stepped all over the lame defense of slick rick's sweet tea sipping cheerleaders.

He is being investigated for channeling funds to his cronies. Period. Did he do it. Undoubtedly. Will he do any cross bars hotel time? Probably not. Is it worth the effort to watch him try to play it off? You betcha!

List for us the specific "wrongdoing" he did...and what specific law he broke.

Even thought the Prosecutor tried to get 4 counts in the Indictment....all he got was two. They are flimsy, at best.

Count I Abuse of Official Capacity
Count II Coercion of an Elected Official

Regarding Count I.....Travis County D.A.'s will lose. Why? Because the Governor of Texas has the official capacity to line-item veto a particular expenditure. Period. He doesn't have to say why; he doesn't have to say why not. But if he does say something.....it's his right to free speech that enables him to do so.

Regarding Count II.....Coercion would mean that he "obtained" her resignation. She's still in office, so that didn't happen.

I agree with liberal law professors Turley and Dershowitz.......this indictment is an abuse of power by the Travis County's D.A.'s office.

LOL. come on! Dont i at least get an a for creativity?

Anyhoo....call it what you want. It still doesnt make the fact that he is being investigated for giving monies to his ass-kissers go away.

    Sorry. Sucks but true.

I take that to mean you are unable to name any wrongdoing.

Go back and read the OP. It's all there....from the primary investigator. Perry was never the target and never under investigation. Dems have made all that up.

    Ummm ok.

    http://kut.org/post/governor-perry-facing-possible-grand-jury-indictment

The mildest thing he can be called is an opportunist. He knew he was in hot water and when dumbass lehmberg got (*)(*)(*)(*)-faced and made a fool of herself he jumped all over it like a horny two-peckered goat.

The 'solitary voice' makes it sound as though they're going to go through the trial for charges of 1) abuse, and 2) coercion AND THEN...

Find the plaintiff guilty of some unspecified, unknown, uncharged vaporized rumors of funneled monies. Jeebus, may as well charge him of being a funnel cake. If he shows up at the state fair they can friggin deep fry him. They still wouldn't be satisfied.

I realize the leftists are just so gosh darned proud of the drunken DA. Did you notice that when she tried to walk a straight line she always veered...to the left. Imagine that.

Sigh. I wish. Nothing so exciting. A rigorous 2 hours of Heads Up followed by a heartwarming an & half of a Disney movie. Frozen. No pun intended. :)
