Now, if Russia can sort out its training and logistics system as well as its failed command and control it can turn this around. That will be an uphill climb during the middle of a war but it is possible they could do it. It doesn't seem Putin is competent or capable of doing those things though.

There won't be any saber rattling. Russia switched from its military operation into an anti terrorist one with all it implies. The only thing holding the Russians back will be the civilians the Ukrainians will be using as human shields in cities like Kharkov and Odessa - the way they did in Mariupol.

This is why Ukraine frightens people from leaving by bombing the refugee convoys and also why Kadyrov's volunteers are returning to Ukraine. They're experts in urban fighting and are needed to help the civilians.

What I foresee, is a few more weeks of fighting and it will be all over in Ukraine. Eventually referendums will be held in each area and the people will choose what they want; independence, to remain with a rump Ukraine and/or unite with the nation they identify with such as Russia, Hungary or Romania.

Washington will then move its war to break up the Russian Federation to new pastures such as the Baltic Sea and Kaliningrad. After they're smashed Georgia will stupidly follow suit, and Erdogan will be overthrown as Russia is pitted against a foolish new Turkish leader. As for us, well as they say, man makes his plans, but God has his own.

Anyway, this is what I foresee for the near future. After that the nukes will fly.

Referendums can be called if it's clear the people want to seperate, however it is up to the nation's governing body to call for the referendum. NOT an incading nation. LOL.
