Question for "Medicare for all" supporters... Does that include illegal aliens?

I am opposed to a taxpayer funded Medicare for all. But I fully support a single payer health insurance, where the gov't collects premiums from pay checks, and disperses the funds, removing profits from healthcare insurance. Getting rid of the lucrative middlemen.

I would still want a few private for profit insurance companies, those that would sell cadillac policies to the richer americans. Being rich has to have its perks. haha

 

The issue is complicated and I am awaiting Trump and our Congress for guidance on a humane solution. Tossin' em is a solution and not a humane one. Keeping the DACA immigrant children and those who pay taxes in America should be a priority without any trade-offs
and will reduce the numbers that have to be dealt with.

 

The problem is complex. Don't have a humane solution that will be acceptable to people like you who lack compassion and moral compass, just like your liar and con-man in chief.

Is the design of your plan to only cover those who are working? Not that I have an issue with that. Just trying to understand where you're going with it.

 

It would have Medicaid for the jobless, whether by disability, or other reasons. Medicare would be for working and retired americans, a national health insurance, financed by the people who pay into it as they would pay into any insurance.

This would remove the burden and expense of small businesses having health insurance for their workers, and save them money. Big business could offer cadillac healthcare, as a perk, as a attractor to get better workers. But private sector health insurance would take a hit and that is a powerful lobby in DC. Which is probably why single payer was not included as an option in obamacare, even as several people wanted to include it. Big insurance spoke and the democrats listened. ha ha

And it’s not a complex problem as you erroneously claim. It is quite a simple one: Did the individual in question enter the country through a proper port of entry and are they in compliance with our immigration policy? If answered “NO” to either question, the individual needs to leave or be removed by force. It is that simple.
