    There is no evidence that Romney is going to take anything away, that is the leftist, fear mongering that you are spouting. We know that is what Obama is taking away, look at the whole Obama-care when he introduced it. He demanded that they vote in favour of it, before they could read it. He uses his executive authority to push things through. And you "think" Romney is going to do that...

    Since Romney has no executive powers, and this is your claim. PROVE IT, otherwise it is liberal fear-mongering, and you have no point. Just baseless accusations.

    What I find funny about this whole thing is that when conservatives wanted to "force" people to buy insurance (you know, since the individual mandate was a conservative alternative to HillaryCare), it was all fine and dandy because it was basically a free market alternative. But now... oh man, now it is some sort of evil socialist, world-ending government intrusion.

    It wasn't fine with me because I never heard of it till libs brought it up.

    And I'm sure if I did hear about it I wouldn't have liked it any better than I do now.

    I'm sure that there would be many people on this board that would still be pissed about it. However, I'm also sure that if Bush had tried to push this very same reform through, that many Republicans would be just fine with it simply because it was a Republican doing it and not a Democrat.

    Meh, I really don't know. I just find it incredibly hypocritical that Romney, who has said that he wanted his Massachusetts plan applied to the national level, is now the candidate running against just that. Not to mention the various Republicans and conservative think tanks that promoted the mandate in the past now coming out of the woodwork to criticize their plan.

    So I must support a plan that I don't like because a conservative think tank that I owe no loyalty to first proposed the idea?

    I don't think so.

    Romney is the Republican alternative to Obama and ObamaCare.

    If he keeps his pledge to do away with it I really don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) what he really thinks about it.

    I honestly don't think Romney knows what he is running on, he is just told what to say and what not to say by the Republican leaders and his financial backers. I only say this because of his extremely flip-floppish nature, especially with the recent pre-existing conditions fiasco.

    America was in pretty good shape when Bush41 left office.

    But he was the last member of the WW2 generation to hold office.

    Since then all we've had are Baby Boomer screwups in the White House.

    I find that post absolutely hilarious!!! I really do... And what's funnier.. Not ONE - NOT A ONE Republican said, "We do not whine like a baby about America..." Do you know what most of them did...

    Like a three year old... "Well... Well... The Democrats do it too"!!
