One major issue that in a sense relates to all major issues facing the USA..... is that Richard Dawkins Ph. D. has
our most educated convinced that human life........ and all life for that matter..... has relatively low value!

A more accurate valuation placed on human life.....and all life for that matter.... could allow us to INVEST much more heavily in actually addressing the problems facing humanity.

A former Atheist and near death experiencer was shown that by around the year 2185.... two centuries from his 1985 brush with death in a Paris, France Hospital..... he was shown that children..... would be considered to be the most precious commodity on this earth.

I am of the belief that a more THEISTIC version of Evolutionary Theory than that espoused by Richard Dawkins Ph. D. can set the stage for a true surge in humans........ placing greater value on our own lives...... and the individual lives of our familiy members........ and especially our children.... and even our dog or cat or pet alligator?!

Attempting to lay a foundation for a more Theistic Version of Evolutionary Theory is something of a theme of mine that I get into so often that I wrote a blog on the topic.

For the record... if I remember correctly in his book My Descent Into Death Howard Storm admitted that just because he did not see technology in 2185 like we have now..... would not necessarily mean that it wasn't there! Perhaps by then technology may be so miniaturized that it may blend into the environment extremely well.

Here is an obvious positive direction that the world economy can go in IF WE PLACE A GREATER VALUE ON HUMAN AND animal and even plant life forms.

COVID 19 and introduction of an unconditional income supplement

Here is another possible positive outcome of reevaluating the value of our lives!

After the Abraham Peace Accord turn deserts green...

In the past....... brilliant people used Compound Interest Over Time to cause governments to appear bankrupt on paper..... but they were being deceptive in their arguments.......

Heh, somewhat differing ranks, but it looks like we have similar reasoning for how we prioritized things.
I definitely agree that it really helps out a lot in handling a lot of different issues if we first have decent
systems for acquiring and assessing knowledge but also I'd add similarly decent systems
for making decisions and coming to consensus after that knowledge is acquired.

But anyway, thanks for voting, got it!

Heh, when we had the ice-cream vote, no-one nominated that one.
But given that the winner of the vote was Chocolate and given that tied for second
were Chocolate and Vanilla Swirl and Chocolate Chip Mint... yeah, I'd say that
Death by Chocolate would have definitely ended up in good company at the top
of the list with them if not the new outright winner as you suggested...
Chocolate and its various variants are well beloved here.

    Results...

Biggest National Issue Coming out of 2020:

    Q. COVID-19 Pandemic and Economic Fallout

Not too surprising there... I mean, it wasn't even close...
    Option Q (COVID-19) beats out the runner-up in a one-on-one race 10-3 (a 7-point spread)!
Which is, quite the decisive victory.

Speaking of the runner-up... second most pressing issue (just as it did 2 years ago) goes to C. Partisan Dysfunction in Congress. Third is K. Healthcare, and following that we have a tie between J. Fake News and Disinformation and X. China for fourth. Somewhat of a pattern there, other than C and maybe J, all the top issues can all be argued to be COVID-related, which makes perfect sense actually... its a world-wide once-in-a-life-time life-changing crises we're dealing with...

Changed up the formatting a bit for this one. Let me know how it turned out. Any ties are grouped together based on the background shading.

    Ranked Vote: Discussion Thread

Not much else to say really. W. Election Security did do a bit better in Plurality and Instant Runoff, but otherwise all three methods ended up matching up pretty closely this time. If anyone has any questions about the results, let's chat! Else, hope to see you in the next one. Thanks a lot to all who participated!
