hahahahhahahahahahahHAHAHAHAHAHAH epic! I even highlighted the comprehension failure. Jills state.....its says Jills state, not Jill, it says Jills state. Do you see?
Census Bureau: California still has highest U.S. poverty rate Overall, about 4 in 10 California residents are living in or near poverty. About one in five (19.8%) Californians were not in poverty but lived fairly close to the poverty line. All told, 40.8% of state residents were poor or near poor in 2013. But the share of Californians in families with less than half the resources needed to meet basic needs was 5.9%, a deep poverty rate that is smaller than official poverty statistics indicate -> http://www.ppic.org/main/publication_show.asp?i=261 Why Does California Have The Nation's Highest Poverty Rate? -> http://www.forbes.com/sites/chuckde...he-nations-highest-poverty-rate/#10f81fe63e89
No Im not. You can tell this by reading the question and comprehending it. Brullant? hahhahah epic. just epic post fail
It couldn't have ANYTHING to do with jobs in those States. Nope, it's "supply-side economics" to that PHANTOM richest. In actuality, the fracturing of the States which was created largely through the politicization of the Alwater tapes is a far greater contributor to the crisis. In short, the New Left has been hermorrging the US since 1975. Had the New Left not existed, the US would be an even more unquestioned world power than today. We're 1/4th of our capabilities thanks to the Liberal Party.
The other thing these statistics don't take into consideration is Cost of Living Index. Living on $20k in Alabama is not the same thing as trying to live on $20k in NYC.
Those states would be even worse off with blue state policies. Maybe even Detroit- or Chicago-level worse off.
But people live better in red states. The house I grew up in back in New York was 1,300 square feet. It is currently assessed at exactly $1 million. My house in Texas is 2,140 square feet and it's currently valued at $180,000. If you and your wife are making a combined income of $150,000, it's possible to afford the house in Texas and have plenty of money left for vacations abroad, some very nice cars, etc. But a $1 million home would be impossible to afford.
The facts are the facts. More people on welfare per capita in the red states. They are a drain on the country
Well, then cut welfare. I've been advocating that for decades. Don't just complain, do something about the welfare expense.
What you fail to take into account is the cost of living in those states. A person in say the Midwest like Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma can probably live better than a person in California or NYC making 200K because everything costs much more.
This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Most of Iowa's farmland and those farms provide most of the food you eat every year. You would literally starve or eat fish for the rest of your life. We support most of the country with corn and even sell corn to other countries so how are we a drain? Who cares about per capita. Poverty is poverty and every state has it. Some more than others. To claim people are a drain is just wrong. Don't forget many people in these red states still voted for Hillary just as many people in the blue states voted for Trump. So what you are saying is childish and has nothing to do with the fact that you obviously are just a sore loser. If we decided to remove every red state that you call a drain then would lose a lot more than just the food that we provide. The only people that are a drain are the ones draining our precious time responding to childish comments that make no sense. You are wrong. The OP is wrong. Everyone matters. Every state has issues and we need to try and address as many of them as we can. Hillary only wanted to address the issues she cared about and chose to ignore most of the country. Your left side, party and news has failed yet you guys try to say your better and smarter than everyone who voted for Trump. If that is true why did Hillary lose if she is so smart? Who here actually thinks people living in California are better than people living in Iowa? Considering most of California county wise voted for Trump and most of Iowa voted for Trump does that not make us all the same? Let's not forget that Hillary helped make some of those welfare programs and she was the one all of the blue states voted for so they must be ok with welfare right?
Good point. The Democrats have declared war on red states by attacking and destroying the industries they rely on and shipping their manufacturing jobs to China. Trump will turn that around.
Red states provide a better quality of life. We're happy here. You'll never get us to move to Detroit or Newark.
Of course you are happy. You take more from the government than you pay in. We are paying for that happiness. Say thank you
Geez,,, it's an freakin alternate universe.... show us the stats on who is on the govt teat by state, or close your soup hole.
