    It has been my privilege to serve the people of California’s San Joaquin Valley for nineteen years in the U.S. House of Representatives. During this time, I fought hard in Washington for the interests and values of Valley families and to help my constituents resolve any problems they may have with a federal government agency.

    Recently, I was presented with a new opportunity to fight for the most important issues I believe in. I’m writing to let you know I’ve decided to pursue this opportunity, and therefore I will be leaving the House of Representatives at the end of 2021. I will deeply miss being your congressman.

    Although Nunes did not expand on his “new opportunity,” Trump Media & Technology Group confirmed Nunes will be joining the company as CEO in a press release:

    The reason that Devin Moo-nez is retiring is very simple. California is about to redistrict his seat into something competitive, and like most of the GQP, he knows that he stands a snowballs chance in hell of winning in a competitive district.

    Except that the actual facts say he is in a competitive district already.

    2020 - Nunes won 54% - 45% <-- He improve with mail in ballots. His constituents realized they were lied to when he was 100% exonerated from the Democratic Party charges.
    2018 - Nunes won 52% - 47%

    Your claim flies in the face of facts.

    Let's make a bet on who doesn't stand a snowball's chance of retaining Congress in 2022. You just shared a bunch of absolute crap and got exposed. Next time, base your post on reality, not Leftist propaganda.

    Rigged is another classification. You said stolen. Clearly the 2020 Elections were rigged without question, from the Mail In Ballots, to not following state laws, to Big Tech censoring meaningful stories, to the MSM providing completely biased coverage, it was rigged. How much the rigging mattered is not clearly defined. We should never have elections like that.

    So, if the Democrats lose in 2024, they will have the right to claim that the election was stolen from them and storm the capitol to overturn it.
