Rep. Greene to Newsmax: Dems Trying to 'Brainwash the Public' About Jan. 6

Democrats are planning more tarnishing of Republicans and former President Donald Trump on Jan. 6, according to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga. But, she told Newsmax on Tuesday night, she is going to work to find out the truth of what happened in the storming of the Capitol.

"With Nancy Pelosi and her awful Jan. 6 committee, it's nothing but Russia Collusion 2.0, and they're going to continue to run it into the ground day in and day out, trying to hurt Republicans going into the midterm elections," Greene said on Tuesday's ''Cortes & Pellegrino.'' She was referring to the House committee probing the events of Jan. 6, a committee many Republicans see as working toward partisan conclusions knocking Trump for inciting the riot.

Rep. Greene is exactly right regarding the things she told Newmax news. Her allegations against Pelosi and democrats are newsworthy current events. I hope she gets to the bottom of what happened last Jan 6.

When news organizations report on what political leaders say, it is current news, and it’s the top news story on their news site. the Capitol. We know Trump ignored it for hours when he could have tried to stop it. We watched it happen - no "spin" when we can all see it on live TV.

 

I'm 1000% certain "the whole country" did not "watch what happened unfold in real-time". I don't think you even watched it in real-time, or you've got some screwed-up memories from it because your timeline is all sorts of wrong. He didn't ignore it for "hours". The first window was broken on the Capitol building at 2:11 pm and at 2:38 pm President Trump tweeted "Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!". And then at 3:13 pm he tweeted "I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!"

 

Dems are gonna be disappointed.

Maybe when Brandon gives his SOTU address it should not be considered news and be opinion since everything he says will simply be his opinion and the reports on it will only be advancing his opinion.
