It's also incorrect. CNN, MSNBC, and Fox are all news channels. They all broadcast news stories. Facts aren't dependent upon opinions. They are foundation for logical conclusions.

 

So last I checked, the president has options beyond tweets. I don't disagree with your timeline, but rather your notion that his response being tweets were meaningful.

Moreover, it's silly to ask people like the Proud Boys and other right-wing extremists to respect police. They don't respect the government, of which the police at every level are part of.

I think all you did here was highlight someone making a couple CYA tweets and calling it a job well done. That's not the appropriate response to what was happening a year ago.
