They have no purpose except to counter the offensive groups like Proud Boys and such....

Next time Antifa does something on their own, please let us know all about it...

We'll see how the Senate turns out... that's the only body in question in 2020... I think there's a solid chance it turns out 50/50....

Worst case scenario for the nation is Democratic control of both houses of Congress and Trump as president.
Best case: Democrats control all 3 branches of the government like they do in California.

You mean like beating a woman in a wheelchair? lol

    https://www.foxnews.com/us/portland...bullying-elderly-motorist-woman-in-wheelchair

You defend this group and they are the new Nazi party. You should stop spreading lies about their real intentions.

Funny how Faux News turns these people into Antifa Protesters, when the link they refer to in their article doesn't mention that at all...

    https://www.oregonlive.com/portland/2018/10/portland_demonstrators_protest.html

They also mentioned a protester was struck with a vehicle.... sound familiar??

When I see semi-organized Antifa out doing something other than countering white trash, then I'll reconsider...

They were ANTIFA. Funny how you fail to condemn them from beating a woman in a wheelchair or causing mayhem in the streets with no permits to march. They were there to cause physical harm and property damage while redirecting traffic, because they felt like it.

    They are Nazi's.

    Really.
    - Cite the text of Trumps supposedly racist tweets/statements
    - Demonstrate how those tweets/statements meet the definition of racism, as per post #416.

The left doesn't oppose the tactics of the Nazis, just their ideology - and then, only sometimes.

Please stay focused. What's your opinion of Conway's comments to fellow Republicans?

"What’s just as bad, though, is the virtual silence from Republican leaders and officeholders. They’re silent not because they agree with Trump. Surely they know better. They’re silent because, knowing that he’s incorrigible, they have inured themselves to his wild statements; because, knowing that he’s a fool, they don’t really take his words seriously and pretend that others shouldn’t, either; because, knowing how damaging Trump’s words are, the Republicans don’t want to give succor to their political enemies; because, knowing how vindictive, stubborn and obtusely self-destructive Trump is, they fear his wrath."

Conway, like you, doesn't know what "racism" is.
Hint: It's -not- being critical of a person or people of color.
In your defense, your shared misconception is common.

    Disagree?
    - Cite the text of Trumps supposedly racist tweets/statements
    - Demonstrate how those tweets/statements meet the definition of racism, as per post #416.

Can you break down Conway's assessment of Republicans? Where exactly do you disagree?

Hurd is repeating what George W Bush/ Karl Rove warned Republicans of 3 decades ago:

"Why more Texas Republicans have found the strength to criticize Trump’s tweets" https://qz.com/1668332/why-some-texas-republicans-condemned-trumps-racist-tweets/

“If the Republican party in Texas doesn’t start looking like Texas, there won’t be a Republican party in Texas,” he told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour. “This makes it harder in order to take our ideas and our platform to communities that don’t necessarily identify with the Republican party.”

You are committing the logical fallacy of Appeal to Authority. This is not a valid argument. There are often persons with high degrees on both sides of many arguments.

Another Texas Republican disagreeing with Trump:

    Congressman Pete Wilson:
"The Tweet President Trump posted over the weekend about fellow Members of Congress are not reflective of the values of the 1,000,000+ people in Texas 22. We are proud to be the most diverse Congressional district in America. I urge our President immediately disavow his comments."

    Another Texas Republican:
    Rep Dan Crenshaw:
"I check if there’s a crazy comment I have to weigh in on daily. Rhetoric in politics is out of control.

•CBP agents aren’t Nazis running concentration camps.

    •Pelosi isn’t racist.

•POTUS shouldn’t suggest Congresswomen should leave because of their rhetoric.

    Exhausting."

Can anyone here cite the text of Trumps supposedly racist tweets/statements? The author of this thread has failed to deliver on this.
