You really need me to provide a link to the US Tresuary? It’s not hard to find .

    It is your word.

Guess you haven’t paid attention, I’ve repeatedly called for entitlement reform and been very much behind it. It’s the largest drivers of debt

it's your claim. I provided a link to support mine. Your number may in fact be true. But you seem unable/unwilling to support it. If it is infact 779 billion, instead of 883 billion......................that is still close to a trillion dollar deficit in good economic times. Gross incompetence by republicans.
    no it isn't.
How many letters did you right your republican congressman over the past 2 years?

I don’t know if it’s right...just what the Tres Dept reported.
I agree it’s horrible Washington won’t cut spending. I was pleased to see that spending from December is less then last year...hope it continues. Both of my Senators are Dems they have no interest in cutting spending, I have spoken to my Congessman a handful of times about it but they always hit a road block when they start the entitlement reform debate

it was lower because of the shut down. What was supposed to be spent in December, will be spent after the shutdown.
So how many republican congressman did you right to, not from your state, and demand they cut spending in the past 2 years?

Oh dear. But I thought increased revenues were going to pay for the tax breaks for the rich. Where are those billions coming into the treasury from tariffs that Trump is always talking about?

    1) the article doesn’t say it was from the shutdown...so you have something to support your claim? If it is, then maybe we should have more shutdowns, or frankly not how back these 800k people.

    2) none, just my own...he’s who represent me.

not the same kind of boats. They don't have the equipment, or personnel to do the coast guards job, in addition to their own.

So you think causing another recession is the responsible thing to do. Lol

This is why republicans should be barred from holding public office.

How will cutting the Dept of education, the coast guard and reforming entitlements cause a recession?

well, lots of people will be unemployed because of that. Cutting entitlements will mean less money to those receiving them, which means less money spent in the economy.

Again, this is why republicans should be barred from holding public office. They don't understand finances, fiscal policy, or economics.

I said reform entitlements, yes some folks will lose their jobs in Govt, but there are other jobs. Apparently , you aren’t interested in cutting spending. That’s fine, I just don’t understand why you are made at theGOP when they don’t

you said cut entitlements. What jobs are people going to find?
I do want to cut spending. Not at the expense of the economy, and not things we need. education, coast guard, SS, Medicare etc are all things we need. The largest defense budget of any first world nation, larger than the next 6 countries combined, is the perfect place to start.

It is clearly quite correct. They **** up the economy every time they are in power. Their policies slash revenues and cause deficits to sky rocket, causing the debt to sky rocket.
