Rick Perry Goes On CNN To Make Absurd Claims Associating Immigrants To Terrorists

They will just ignore it. Trying to find the video clip but around 3:00 pm yesterday on CNN they were talking about ISIS and the threat of splinter cells in the US. Of course those terrorists hop in there magic flying carpets and land here they couldnt possibly use a border crossed by many illegally daily~

 

He didn't start an unnecessary war there, but he inherited the consequences.

Isreal did the same thing they are doing now in Lebanon in 2006, and the Bush adminstration encouraged them, hoping for a proxy war with Iran.

 

The gist of this "report" is that "we know terrorists are flooding across the border" but it's a secret!

Showing a picture of a report without saying what it is isn't evidence of anything, but it does suggest that someone is ginning up a claim for a receptive xenophobic audience.

 

Um . . . Governor of Texas is co-responsible along with the feet dragging federal government for (wait for it) the security of the border state. Wow! How many leftwingers don't fundamentally grasp the function of a state governor? He or she IS a fluking president of many millions of people and -- just like the president of the United States of America is responsible for security and for seeing to it that the laws on the books are generally enforced by agencies rather than ignored. So forth and so on . . . which is why voters generally rate governors as better prospective presidential candidates than they do U.S. representatives or senators . . . since their experiences are in the same ball park regarding duties and responsibilities. Oh and um . . . sheesh!

Also Im not sure what angle you are going on unless you are claiming CNN has a"xenophobic" audience. Anyone watching around 3:00pm est saw the same report i did. Dont even know the hosts name just some overly botoxed blond who thinks she is clever reporting "Breaking news".

 

Which illegals are you referring to? The illegals who came here, murdered others, took their lands and homes from them, or the original illegals who were here first who are trying to come back to those same lands their ancestors lived on?

And how has Obama left the middle east in a crisis? You mean the part where Obama didn't want to go into Iraq to begin with but had to clean up the dirty laundry of his predecessor while offering to have a residual force for Maliki after we left and he said we would take it from here? Or, the part where the Sunni's and Shiites have been fighting each other for religious reasons for centuries. Or, do you mean the part where Palestine has had religious wars with the Jews for decades before Obama was president?

Earlier this week, they were promoting the idea that Guatamalan children were going to bring ebola to the US, dispite the complete lack of evidence.

Now,they're trying to parlay the fact that Hezbollah has been peddling weapons to some of the Mexican drug cartels in return for drugs into evidence of a terrorist invasion from the south.

Considering the fact that the Mexican cartels got most of their weapons out of the trunks of cars at gun shows in the US, it's hardly a flood.

 

I didn’t read all the posts but I will say that you and the writer of this pathetic example of news has to be one of the most dishonest conclusions I’ve ever seen.

Perry did NOT equate immigrants to terrorists.

First of all he is talking about ILLEGAL immigrants.

Secondly, he specifically said some of these ILLEGAL immigrants may have come from countries with ties to terrorism; that there may be terrorist within the crowds of illegals.

You liberals really must think folks are too stupid to see what you’re doing here. Not a lick of honesty in you. What a shame you have no leg to stand on with the facts behind the illegal immigrant issue that you have to make crap up. Just another day in the life of a liberal.

 

I don't, so please tell me. Because if he is sending the National Guard down there to do what the border patrol is already doing by meeting the kids and processing them, I fail to see what Perry is doing differently than what is already being done. Especially considering how the law for this is written.

 

It's especially noteworthy since Perry hasn't actually sent anyone. (not that the talk radio idiots actually noticed). He just said he was going to. But the Texas National Guard can only enforce state law when the Governor calls them out, so they can't deport anyone, or enforce Federal immigration laws. Perhaps they'll hand out candy to the kids.

 

I like Perry. He would make a fine President! If that were to happen; hopefully, they will thoroughly fumigate the WH before the Perrys move in!

 

And despite the fact that Guatemala is in Central America, not Africa!

"Illegal immigrants," "terrorists," "drug dealers," - as far as the audience Perry was targeting is concerned, those are all just polite euphemisms for "sand n*****"

Good grief, and I thought the local news was horrible here in Philly. At least we don't have reporters repeating literal conspiracy theories with a straight face.
