Really? What Christians are advocating a war against Muslims? You certainly can't mean the US government as it has been weened of any Christian influences. Just ask the ACLU.

Scroll up. You lambasted my comment about it. That's what was being advocated:

I said there is no consensus, not that there are generals who advocate whatever path your trying to demean. There may be. But they've probably got more of a reason for suggesting it than you. I mean seriously...armchair general?

Yes there is a consensus, like 10 to 1. Why would you think I was a arm chair general for reading an article?

Yes there are. So WTF does that have to do with my question about your statement "tens of thousands islamo-nazis cutting the heads of people everywhere"?

Do you have facts to back that up or are you just exaggerating like a liberal talking about gun deaths?

Another exaggeration or do you have facts to back up this assertion?

Not defending President Obama, but I'm tired of the right looking ridiculous by making exaggerations on par with Al Gore yelling "We're all gonna die!" at a global warming convention.

Civilian politicians who we correctly listening to to voting public ! We were clamouring for retribution and we took it to dish out punishment . The generals should have been intelligent enough to piece it together and in hindsight we made some errors but we did do the military job . The problem was political and leaving Iraq only as a election payback to leftist groups as suddenly as Obama did was a huge mistake. He doesn't seem to be able to make a decision that has the future involved in it . No foresight makes him a follower not a leader and I can't even logically see him as a organizer , he doesn't seem to have even the responsibiliy to accomplish that task.

Marines have this thing called "once a Marine always a Marine". There is no such thing as an "ex Marine" to them. And calling them so is considered insulting.

Insulting or not it is factually correct to call someone who is no longer marine an ex marine.

Yeah well some hold a great deal of pride in such things. Kinda like calling a Navy F/A-18 driver a "pilot". They tend to get mad because they aren't "pilot's" they are "Naval Aviators".

I personally find it fitting to refer to people in hold such pride in their titles by the title that they see fit.

I know that to civilians it seems like way overblown nitpicking to something stupid but to them it matters a lot.

Negative. I'm concerned with right wingers destroying a solid argument through exaggeration if not outright lies. It makes the point look wrong just like the Liberals who exaggerate gun deaths look like ranting idiots. They destroy their own efforts with exaggeration. You are doing the same thing.

So you think that entitlement should only be given to politicians, such as presidents and governors?

We shouldn't be involved with this....period. If we are going to get involved then we should do it right the first time and throw everything we have at them including ground troops. This half assed fighting via proxies and other bull(*)(*)(*)(*) has got to stop. We have the world's most lethal military machine so why wouldn't you use it against filthy Muslims.

Just pointing out the poster claiming credibility was lost by calling him an ex marine is incorrect. He is in fact an ex marine.

By design it was meant to belittle, at the very least he could have said "veteran". Most know with very little exposure that once born a Marine one will die a Marine regardless of status.

    A well earned title.

Correct. An "ex-Marine" is one that was dishonorably discharged from the Marine Corps. It's an insult to label a Marine an "ex-Marine". It's not uncommon to call a deceased Marine who is no longer in uniform a "former Marine" in their obituary, but it also wouldn't be wrong to say "he/she was a Marine" even if they were no longer in uniform.

I honestly would have no problem irradicating Islam from this planet. They have repeatedly shown themselves to be violent, oppressive, authortarian and despotic. They claim that they are against ISIS yet those 1.6 billion can't seem to get their asses out of bed to deal with 30,000 so called extremists. Islam IS NOT CONDUCIVE WITH FREEDOM! You cannot live in a free society with strong individual liberties and protections for minority groups and have Islam as the dominant religion. They are antithetical to each other. (*)(*)(*)(*) Islam!

Becuase you likely don't know anything about fighting ISIS, the conditions in the area, or however many other of the myriad factors that is not discussed in any media source that go into the decisions about how to deal with them. Your endorsement is likely based on superficial reasons- like a general conservative endorsement of one strategy and/or it pinging Obama's credibility.

    A 10 to 1 consensus from whom?

In the days after 9-11 ,every American wanted retribution and that's called human nature - you must be pretty special to be above that! Or pretty numb.
