    Of course people want retribution. Are you saying you and others believed the retribution for 9/11 was properly directed at Iraq? Why did we invade Afghanistan first, then?

    Keep your insults to yourself if you want to stay on the moral high ground.

    Did I mean to belittle? Of course not.

    Do I give a toss about american military vernacular? Of course not.

    Meh, I think you're overestimating the international significance of the internal language norms of the US military.

    Did you have anything to say about my actual argument, or did you just show up to nitpick about my choice of language?
