Just think of what President Empty-chair will inherit if he gets re-elected.

...not among a public more interested in charisma and emotional appeals than logic.

If facts beat fiction in American politics, we'd probably be in the middle of a second Civil War by now.

Either that, or we'd have several bankers hanging from lampposts.

Any hopes you had of ever having credibility around here just went out the window........

Even CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, PMSNBC, PBS all gave the win to Romney.....which tells you how bad the ass whooping really was.....

.......and how far removed from Reality you really are......

Which forum? It might be me, unless the guy is currently active. I've bounced around a lot of forums. I know I've seen you on at least three, maybe four.

Mitt cannot say what loopholes and deductions can be denied to the upper 10% who have about 75 % of all the wealth in USA. Besides that, it will not work anyway, since the wealthy routinely find new loopholes as soon as legislation is written to close the old ones.

So what will happen, is the reduction proposed from 35% to 28% will be a huge loss of revenue, once the inheritance tax is eliminated and capital gains tax get reduced (you know how Republicans will go for that), then the revenue will not even remain fixed at the 1 Trillion/year they are getting now. And if an additional 1 Trillion or more is added to Military budget, at same time as 20% reduction to Middleclass, then some severe cuts have to be made in the Fed Budget. And Mitt will not tell us specifically except we are pretty sure from the video that he means those programs that benefit the 47% that Mitt is now saying he did not mean when he said so just a few days ago.

LOL!, it is truly amazing how a flip flopper of this magnitude can still have supporters, especially any who supported Newt since Newt already proclaimed Mitt to be a liar.

The ONLY point, and it is a WEAK one, that can be made to assert that Obama lied about the 5 Trillion over 10 years is because of fuzzy math made by Mitt claiming deductions can be eliminated, which is basically just nonsense given the resources the upper 10% have to get around legislation.

Shall we proceed on to the other false/misleading statements made by Mitt Romney during the debate, all of which came from talking points on Fox News?

Didy you watch the debate? Did he win, is the pope a chatholic. It was embarrassing how just not having a telepromoter to tell yoiu what to say and ruin your evening.

Obama continually avoided eye contact and seemed to be staring off into a corner when answering a question. On the item of body language alone, Mitt Romney schooled Obama. Mitt looked him directly in the eye and was engaging, genuine, and personable. You're right. President Empty-chair is lost without his teleprompter.

Because Obama was winning or tied in every swing state before the debate and now he is losing or tied in every swing state. If the purpose of the debate isn't to help you get elected, then I am not sure what other standard you would use. And since the debate reduced Obama's chances of being elected, that would be a good indicator that he lost the debate.

The real loss in the debate was that Obama spent half a billion dollars painting Romney as a wild eyed lunatic, and when Romney beat Obama like a red-headed step child, it threw away six months of negative ads and that half a billion dollars. Pfffft! It all just evaported.

Leftards might argue that it stimulated the economy, based on their vast knowledge base of what makes an economy work. The only thing that's going to stimulate the economy is when Romney wins and re-whites the White House. (yes I said that)

Yes, because all it takes to fix our economic crisis is for a progressive with an 'R' next to his name to sit in the Oval Office. Who knew that all this time, all it took was magic?

If, as leftist and the more ignorant lights on the right have claimed for the ast three decades the rich aren't paying any taxes with the current loop holes and systems of tax avoidance in place, then how can reducing taxes closer to the percentage they are actually paying and getting rid of all the loophles that left them paying even lower taxes cost the government so much as a dime.

How can you lose money that the left claims they weren't ever getting in the first place?

Well, here is an interesting take on election forecasting.

    http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/08/01/us-usa-election-forecasting-idUSBRE87007120120801

This was in August and they were giving Obama 51.3% of the vote.

The question becomes, did Obama break his leg on the 3rd?

Just watched most of their "debate" except for the part I slept through. Went back and looked for the part that I missed. It was all the same stuff, numbers, promises, and double talk.

Neither one of them knows what to do about the economy, though they did agree that cutting taxes helps people. But neither one of them want to really cut taxes for the ordinary guy. Neither one of them said one word about debt forgiveness, or interest free loans to get people out of their debt burdens.

Neither one of them mentioned the 250$ Bush dividend check he sent most people.
It perked up the "economy" for several months.

What if they did that every month? It would perk up the economy every month. People would be paying down debts and buying stuff. Then people could get busy doing positive things...........if the bully crats would get the hell out of the way, and stop all their insane, stupid, shameful, cruel, unjust wars.

What if a candidate said what the Prophet Joseph said:

[IMG] From Iranian national TV series, THE PROPHET JOSEPH
I am the servant of the American People, not their master, leader or anything else!
