Romney's Military Problem:

I don't think people have to serve in the military in order to have empathy for their sacrifices, and it is a low blow to suggest that Romney has none. If you really want to fight over meaningless things like this, then Obama didn't serve in the military either, nor did Joe Biden. And as far as Romney supporting the Vietnam War but going overseas (to France) rather than fighting, Bill Clinton wrote in his autobiography how he didn't want to serve in the war, and he went off to Oxford, England to study, where he actively opposed the war. So while both Romney and Clinton "dodged" military service, Romney going to France to do missionary work, and Clinton going to England to study, Romney actually supported our country's role overseas, while Clinton spoke out against our country overseas. And it was Barack Obama who recently said that our political disputes are supposed to END at our shores, once we go overseas we aren't supposed to speak against our country or our President. Yet Clinton did dispute America's role, unlike Romney, who defended it.

But military service is not a qualification for office. If it were, Obama would be disqualified.
And lack of military service does not mean a lack of empathy for the sacrifices of America's fighting heroes.

 

No, a low blow is saying that you were "frustrated" that you were not able to fight in Vietnam and that you did nothing to try and get yourself out of Vietnam, when in actuality you secured FOUR DEFERMMENTS to stay out of Vietnam so that you could spend the war in a castle in France having servants wait on you hand and foot.
THAT IS THE LOW BLOW!!!

The military (which Obummer hampered with his lack of knowledge and a disdain for its leaders) did all of this. Why dont you take your ass over there and tell the seal team how Obummer took out Bin-Laden?

Why dont you ask him why he makes our troops look bad by apologizing for them doing their jobs. Yeah you do not know the mentality. Killing someone is easy for some and a nightmare for others. Have you ever felt someone's life slip away by your hand? I have and I will tell you that you do everything in your power to make them evil no matter what! You demonize the enemy and follow orders. We must do what we do as it is the way it need be done. You can not make the enemy into your neighbor. Obummer has no clue and he did nothing!

BTW: Where is your duty station and what MOS? Munitions? Technical Sgt?

I'd be interested to know how many Mormons are currently in the U.S. military. I'd bet that is a more carefully guarded secret than the number of ICBMs in Israel.

You see, the difference is that Clinton OPPOSED the war. Romney FAVORED the war. = CHICKENHAWK

 

Duh. Rich people kids go to places like Harvard, and Princeton. Poor peoples kids go to places like Iraq, Veitnam, or Afgahnistan. This is common knowledge. This is not limited to Romney.

 

No he did not do that the American people did by giving open license with 401k and IRA investments and their shopping habits.

I really am not being a smart ass here but people need to actually look at outsourcing trends and how they correlate to other trends. It is a sell out cycle. We loose jobs and the market falls a little, we correct 401k investment grows, the companies have more money and instead on innovating and growing where the owners (the blind investors) are they seek the highest profit margins. Their stock holders demand it, well the proxies demand it. So next time you blame someone blame yourself even more because you gave them permission. Oh and they do it or lose their job. A board of directors make sure of that.

So educate yourself. Investment is good but blind investment is shooting yourself in the foot.

 

And Clinton received special treatment from his draft board which allowed him to DODGE the draft =CHICKEN

 

His sentiments were my sentiments exactly. That was a turbulent and difficult time. If you were not in his shoes, then you have no idea what you are talking about other than just being another partisan jerk.

 

And also Obummer is still sucking the US tit has been since birth. What the hell has he ever done for anybody? His presidency sucks (I will not blame him for that) and he gives away the farm to buy votes but has he actually helped?

 

Just to be clear: I'm not upset that Romney never served in the military. What gets me upset is that he went out of his way NOT to serve and THEN has the temerity to say he didnt try to avoid the draft and that he was actualy frustrated that he couldnt go to Vietnam to fight. Enough with the lies and bullshirt from this scumbag already!!!

 

What you don't seem to be understanding here is that Clinton was OPPOSED to the war so he took off for Canada and England. Romney was in FAVOR of the war and he should have gone where he YEARNED to go, but he ended up being kidnapped to France and was forced to live in a palace and pick snails out of shells with tiny forks.

 

Because Mormons are notorious America-seconders.

 

And then years later, after getting FOUR deferments, he claims that not only did he neverdo anything to try and get out of serving his country but that in fact he was actually "frustrated" that he was not allowed to go over to Vietnam and kill those commie bastards.
