The private insurance company is the one that would be made to pay for birth control pills as part of the policy that this student pays for.....just like it probably already does for more expensive pills taken on an optional basis like Viagra, Zoloft, Lipitor, Cialis, etc......

 

Or, one can assume you don't know how contraceptives work. You don't take more pills for more partners. You take one a day.

I assume birth control, like other medication, can be quite expensive if you don't have insurance coverage.

 

I can't wait to hear the Rush Limbaugh obituary on this Forum. It may have to be shut down in a show of reverence and respect to the King of The Conservative Republican Party ... out of Fear.

I suspect she was using both DemCount and DemSpeak in her testimony. It was not that she was suffering any real economic impact but was horrified by the emotional impact..She had been told her entire life that she was entitled to free health stuff for 'women's health' issues. The far left feminists proclaimed it so for decades and a vast number of folk actually believe it.

The thought of it not being true was simply too much for her. How Dare the 1st Amendment trump her right to 'women's health' stuff for free!

Do you have some evidence to show she made it up? Do you have some information on the cost of birth control without insurance that shows she is inaccurate? The nonstop sex thing still doesn't apply or make any sense. At all

She doesn't want anything for free. She pays a lot for a student health plan. She would like the private insurance company to offer contraceptive coverage on that health plan. It's really not that complicated.

 

Well, the democrats have been successful in turning this constitutional issue into something about sex. I am surprised they have not turned it into a race issue.
