with all due respect, he was a champion of free speech

he also had great taste in trophy wives.

With your actions how else can one surmise what you are acting like.
Adults are quite capable of comprehending what is in a post.
    :strong:
So stop acting as you did before.

Has he been dead long enough yet?
    I wish he didn't smoke.
I wish he took more calls.
I wish he had more guests.
I wish he married fewer women.
I wish he was less pompous.
I wish he advocated Christianity more vigorously.
With that aside I have a question.
I heard him only sporadically and since 2001 only briefly while driving. One occasion was during the 2008 primaries when it looked like Romney was going to win the nomination. He defended Romney's positions, though I would have guessed that they were somewhat to the left of his philosophy.
Did he ever take sides in a Presidential primary season, and for whom?
He was the one man who might have spared us the Trump administration if he had committed to a 2016 Republican.

I don't recall that he ever took a position during the GOP Presidential Primary races. He knew he was going to support the nominee so he didn't want any bad blood I suppose.

Nonsense. His schtick was to bully and belittle people he disliked on air while the rubes lapped it up.

Because belittling people, like "rubes," would be wrong wouldn't it?

So, if he was neutral, even though some of the Republicans candidates were far to his left, not to mention disgusting or too old, he is a failure.
What Rush needed to do was develop a manifesto for modern conservatism, with policies on taxes, foreign aid, unilateral war, abortion, special rights and so forth, by which we could choose between GOP primary candidates.

So Rush was only concerned with getting famous, not improving America.
We need people who purport to be judges of right and wrong in political matters to make it clear who we should vote for by matching them against a fixed set of values.
Democrat bad-Republican good just doesn't always work, but Trump bad-Kasich better might have saved us all a lot of misery.

Rush would say what I was thinking, in fact, that's why I started listening to him,

Yes.. at this time in our history it is Democrat bad, in fact it's 98% of elected Republicans bad too. They are all corrupt to the core.. they don't care about the American people.. and Kasiach is an opportunistic worm.

A Kasich administration would have gone more quietly than the Biden administration is beginning. We might have corrected the problems with Obamacare in small increments and no big objections. There would have been no problems with taxes or collusion, no impeachment, and whoever lost last November would have given up promptly. Some dead people might be alive. The tax adjustment might have helped everyone.

Gosh... has it been a month since Democrats breathed a huge sigh of relief? I mean, since Rush has passed away?

I'm sure that the little boys in the Dominican Republic, where Limpballs went for his "sexual tourism" with his fraudulent Viagra prescriptions, are the ones breathing a huge sigh of relief...

Rest In Peace, Rush Limbaugh. His legacy as a monumental figure in radio, iconic voice for conservatives and devoted advocate for the First Amendment will live on.
