That's what I try to keep telling them - that Russia isn't their enemy, global Islam is.

One always has to respect a nuclear power, especially when its run by a reckless warmonger like Vladimir Putin.

Putin and his siloviki mafia used to be extremely shrewd, but then again, a bumbling weakling like Obama has the remarkable ability of making anyone look shrewd in comparison. Lately, Putin & Co. have looked more like a bunch of unintelligent and reckless crime bosses. This doesn't come as much of a surprise - over time thugs like Putin tend to get sloppy because they forget that

I certainly don't underestimate the Russians & feel that they are far less likely to initiate a nuclear exchange because they are so intimately familiar with the horrors & manifold deprivations of a World War.
Very few Americans can even imagine what the Russians had to endure during WW 2

I am far more fearful of Trump & his gaggle of Israeli owned & operated, bellicose Chicken Hawks that are so eager to start a war with Iran.

IMHO, any nuclear exchange is far more likely to take place due to events beginning in the Mid East.

Wasn't it you who observed that Westerners who grew up during the 50s and 60s are immune to the threats of nuclear war from Russian vatniks? MAD is something we learned to accept a long time ago.

Warmongers like the OP remind me of bloviating schoolyard bullies shooting their mouths off right before they get their asses handed to them. Or maybe a chihuahua yapping at a rottweiler immediately before it gets its little head ripped off...

The picture above is from Tunguska even, an asteroid strike.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunguska_event

Comparing the energy of a nuke that bursts in atmosphere to energy of earthquake and energy needed to cause an earthquake is just wrong.
OP claims Russian bomb can create an earthquake induced tsunami, which is laughable.

Yes, and the article proves that Russia does not have a functioning nuclear propulsion engine for cruise missiles.

Why do people have such a fetish for naming things?

It’s freaking pointless, meant only to scare idiots.

Let them have it, we play nice, they play nice, everyone wins.

I do not, under any circumstance welcome a scenario or retaliation that would result in an Armageddon event. No country is worth that.

I was born in the seventies, but yes, I agree.
I'm not actually scared of nuclear war at all.

If it happens I'll be gone before I find out and so will everyone I care about.

I don't imagine for a minute however that anyone is going to be ripping Russia's head off.
That anyone is going to be handing their arses to them or that they are a chihuahua compared to anything.

My money is on them mate. Not you.
    Always has been.

100%. And tolerant idiots are like traitors during the war. In South Africa, the real genocide of the white population is already taking place. In fact, in Europe, also the governments of madmen are genocidal of their indigenous population.

Ahahaha. Article - fake for the feeble-minded. By the way. Recently Western media wrote about the fact that Putin communicates with aliens. Do you also believe in this? :roflol::roflol::roflol:

The larger torpedo described, is 100 MT. It has potential to release more kinetic energy than the amount of energy Spooky attributed to an earthquake of Richter 8.
    10% more.

And yes, that is Tunguska pictured.

I'm not really to worried about this 100 MT torpedo, I Just don't think they have a submarine made to deploy what I expect to be such a massive weapon.

Seen any subs with ultra massive torpedo tubes? I haven't.

I don't really know if a 2MT device can fit in a standard tube either for that matter, but atomic torpedoes are nothing new, so I don't find it unthinkable.

We're in the UK mate. We are in blast radius of military bases.

I'm in blast radius of about 6.

    Cambridge.

    Molesworth, (lol still irradiated!)
    Lakenheath.
    Mildenhall.

I'm in the centre of those three.

I don't really know where in the UK you could expect to be missed.

    Stalin:
"Imperialism is the omnipotence of monopoly trusts and syndicates, banks and financial oligarchies in industrial countries.
Imperialism is the most blatant exploitation and the most inhuman oppression of hundreds of millions of people in the vast colonies and dependent countries. Squeezing superprofits - this is the purpose of this exploitation and this oppression.
Imperialism can not live without violence and robbery, without blood and shots.
Imperialism (the highest form of capitalism) can not exist without the political and economic enslavement of other nations and colonies.
Intervention by someone else's hands - this is now the root of the imperialist intervention.
The present war is an imperialist war. Its main goal is the seizure (annexation) of foreign territories by capitalistically developed states. The latter need new markets, convenient routes to these markets, raw materials, mineral wealth, and they try to take them everywhere, regardless of the internal order of the country being seized."

Nothing changed. The US needs a war. If there is not a big war, the US is waiting for a collapse.

Imperialism? You mean what Russia is engaged in with Ukraine, Crimea, the Baltic States, Georgia...

You first study the question. :roflol::roflol::roflol:
    1. In Ukraine, there was a fascist coup d'état. In other words, the fascists seized power in Ukraine.
According to all international norms, if there is a coup in the country, any region can withdraw from the country. In addition, a referendum was held in Crimea and the people of Crimea decided to become part of Russia. Russia agreed to accept them as citizens.
    2. 2. The EU International Commission established that Georgia was an aggressor. Russia only defended its peacekeepers. And also the Russians defended the Ossetians from total annihilation.
    3. The Baltic states belong to Russia. Peter 1 bought the Baltic countries from the Swedes. Now, temporarily, the territory of the Baltic countries is not under Russian control. But I hope that justice will soon be restored and the Baltic lands will become part of Russia.

You agree. If you bought yourself a house, but the rats occupied your home. In any case, your property will remain yours, even if at some point the hordes of rats have seized your property.

The Baltic States withdrew from the Soviet Union after a coup occurred. According to international norms, if there is a coup in the country, any region can withdraw right? They have consistently voted to maintain their independence, but imperialist Russia still wants to conquer them.

To be clear, I was referring to the OP, not Russia.

With their military I'd take that bet any day of the week.

The stuff that Solzhenitsyn warned the West about in the '70s are the only things that concern me...

And here I thought the extreme stupidity expressed by people like you was the indicator.
