These types of defense response probes are a frequent cat and mouse game played by Russia and the West fairly frequently for decades. It’s a way of saying ‘we are still here’. The pilots of both sides likely now each other by sight and wave when they are in proximity to each other. It’s not really news of any substance except to be used to up the alarmists among consumers of MSM when other news needs a kick to keep those consumers consuming news.
