if i knew nothing that would be 1000 times your level, your knowledge of history is childish level at best...Tarters were forcibly deported in mass in 1944, between 40 and 50 % died as a result....yeah I know a lot....

My guess is that Putin will bite off the Crimean peninsula, the Lower Donets basin, Odessa and maybe Bessarabia. A Putin-friendly puppet regime will be installed in Kiev.

Putin need not occupy all of Ukraine. Annexing the territories outlined above into Russia will reduce Ukraine to a landlocked agrarian state with no capability (beyond asymmetric warfare) of hurting Russia.

A helpless, landlocked, agrarian Ukraine suits Putin just fine. It provides his next victims a clear picture of what is in store for them.

A question here: The people in the Crimea and Eastern Ukraine are raising and waving Russian flags. A Ukraine naval ship took down the Ukrainian flag and raised a Russian one. The Ukrainian soldiers sent to Crimea either joined the Russians or went home.

Now folks, let's for a moment forget what our media has been feeding you, does this sound like an invasion or a liberation?

I would like to ask Americans to comment on the situation in the Crimea. But not from a position of fairy-tale heroes (just good and simply evil), and from the position of the geopolitical benefits. What is the benefit of the accession of Ukraine to the European Union will have US, and what will be the benefits for Russia from the fact that Crimea will not dependent on Ukraine? How you think, whether come Russians now, given the fact that the financial assistance from the European Union from Ukraine require to place a NATO military base in the Crimea?

Still invasion, its simple russia has 0 legal reason to be there.

Even if 100% of Crimea supported this (which they dont you see a small minority) then they still wouldnt have the right.

The commander of the Ukrainian Navy refused to obey the Nazi regime in Kiev.

The commander of the Ukrainian Navy Denis Berezovsky held an emergency meeting with the authorities of the Crimea. As the result, it was decided that the Ukrainian Navy is no longer subject to Kiev and went over to the inhabitants of the peninsula. Commander of the naval forces of Ukraine Rear Admiral Denis Berezovsky swore allegiance to the new government and the people of Crimea.

    All legally !!!

In 1992 the Supreme Soviet of Russia declared decision of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR in 1954 "On the transfer of the Crimean region of the RSFSR to the Ukrainian SSR" as adopted in violation of the Constitution, which did not have legal force from the moment of acceptance. Russia has reasserted its sovereignty over the Crimea and Sevastopol.

Stop posting blatant llies. This is not even from Crimea. This happened in Kiev weeks before.

They were killed by fellow protesters during chaos. Or did you miss molotov cocktails being thrown at police and tanks being burned down in Kiev?

Do you think people are that stupid, that they cannot figure out the basic facts. The photo has nothing to do with Russians in Crimea. Not 1 person killed by Russians in Crimea. They been welcomed with open eyes.

The last time US Army was welcomed with open arms was 1945 in France

    More good news.

Head of Ukrainian intelligence service (Equivalent of FBI) in Eastern Ukraine has said they do not recognize the illegitimate government in Kiev.

He and all of his subordinates have declared they will not take orders from Kiev.

I don't post blatant lies, unlike some people on this forum I don't get my news from the Baath ministry of propaganda literally modeled after Goebbels.

Yep, innocent people were shot in the street for having the audacity to exercise their inalienable right to assemble and petition their government for a redress of grievances, anyone who stands in the way of that should be hung or put to the guillotine, and that includes 5th columnist Red Bourgeoisie, Fascist, and Baathist pigs!!! All Syrians who are loyal to the Baath need to have their visas cancelled immediately, no asylum to Fascist pigs!

The violence started on November 30th 2013 with the introduction of jack booted thugs violating a peaceful assembly. Those protesters were killed by state snipers.

This is a Russian instigated conflict so save your Baathist lies, it all started with the Russian trade embargo in August so seriously save your breath for a people who would actually take your ministry of propaganda advice at face value.

The duly elected Parliament of the Ukraine voted the President out of office, a large plurality if not an outright majority of Ukrainian citizens support joining with the EU versus a trade federation with Russia and "number one in potassium" Kazakhstan, so freaking spare us your nonsense.

Don't tell me you actually believe that Assad used WMD on anyone? First of the rebels and terrorists who are fighting are not freedom fighters. That's only a term Kerry likes to use to deceive and manipulate the American people. The jihadist terrorists that are battling Assad are not even Syrians, they come from countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iraq, and they're the ones who used chemical weapons on their own Sunnis in order to implicate Assad. This way our idiots in the State Department would have an excuse to bomb Assad for being loyal to Russia and not leaning towards the West.

Carla Del Ponte of the U.N. knows this and has said it. She said the Sarin gas came from Turkey because they used it on the Kurds two summers ago. But that's okay, they're our friends. Wake up!
