That YouTube video that launched her to fame was upload on March 11, 2014
the same day she was appointed Prosecutor of Crimea. The story of her boss is a
little diff than what we were led to believe.

Despite of her relatively young age, she has 12 years of experience in law enforcement. She investigated a number of terrible crimes, including investigation of the organized criminal group "Shoes". This criminal group accused in the homicides committed with special cruelty. Poklonskaya personally challenged the decision of the Kiev Court which abolished imprisonment to one of the leaders of the group Reuben Aronov.


Poklonskaya graduated from the Yevpatoria branch of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. In 2011 in Simferopol she acted as the state prosecutor in the high profile trial of a former deputy of the Supreme Council of Crimea, charged with membership of an armed gang named Bashmaki ("The Boots"). In the same year she was appointed the inter-district environmental prosecutor of Simferopol. Following that, she was transferred to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office in Kiev, where she served as a senior prosecutor until she resigned on February 25, 2014 from this position.

She quit from her job, because she ashamed to live in the country where "bandits were allowed to walk the street freely. Though her resignation was not accepted.

She was appointed Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on 11 March 2014. Poklonskaya was appointed to the position by Sergei Aksyonov after the previous prosecutor had remained loyal to the government in Kiev; the position had also been reportedly rejected by four other men before Poklonskaya accepted.

In response, the Ukrainian government launched a criminal case against her and stripped her of the civil service rank of "counsellor of justice". She was accused as ‘illegally appointed Attorney of Crimea..’.

Her participation is to "guarantee the impartiality" of the winner selection process, the ministry was cited as saying.

Russia has stepped up the battle against the moral corruption signified by the likes of Austrian Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst by announcing that crime busting Crimean prosecutor general Natalia Poklonskaya is to take over judging as part of the new Russian alternative to Eurovision.

Natalia became an Internet hit after a video from a press conference from her went viral, with her good looks inspiring Japanese animi cartoons, video games and love songs.

And now the good-looking crime buster more noted for her tough clampdown on protest movements in the Crimea is now tackling the Eurovision issue.

Russia announced it was creating its own alternative to the Eurovision after a number of victories by singers like cross-dressing Austrian Conchita Wurst who they accused of corrupting public morality and devaluing common decency.

But now the contest will return in October featuring both ex-Soviet states and members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and this time the Russian entry is being organised by Natalia, who was apparently personally selected by Vladimir Putin. It was Putin in 2009 who first proposed restarting the competition and after the victory of Conchita Wurst the relaunch has now been confirmed.

A spokesman for the Moscow Mass Communication Ministry said: "The participation of the prosecutor general will guarantee impartiality in the selection of winners."

She has reportedly been roped in from currently working on clamping down on Crimean Tatars that have been protesting in front of the new Russian regime installed in the peninsula.

Natalia has already banned the marches as an illegal protest and warned: "If violations will not stop, the Council of Crimean Tatars will be abolished and its activity will be prohibited in the Russian Federation."


So as I understand it, she is off the Tartars and on to being a concert promoter ?

Good one! Part of the old Soviet propaganda was to pick a sympathetic person to be the "face" of the party line. What could be better than a pretty young woman to sell Putin's brand of bull(*)(*)(*)(*). I wonder if a US ad agency helped with the campaign. I expect Natalia will be endorsing sneakers soon.

"Baka" is Japanese for "idiot" or "fool" or maybe "stupid." It's often used in a playful way, there's some word or suffix (I forget exactly what it is) that lets you specify that someone is really stupid as opposed to normal stupid and that form is considered more hostile.

Also, didn't Ukraine put some girl in charge of their announcements? And isn't she less attractive than Natalia? They're doing it wrong...

 

And what if the present government wins that election? Will you accept the result? Will Russia? Has Russia advocated democracy for Ukraine, or policies that suit its interests, regardless of whether they're obtained democratically?

Chubarov was sent by Erdogan to start arousing the Tatars in Crimea to rebel, this is why he was banned. It seems Erdogan and his foreign minister Devotoglu make a habit of it, because the problems started in Syria in Homs which is predominantly Turkomans. The friction between the Kurds and Baghdad also started after Erdogan's visit, not to mention the Uighars in China, the Turks in Thrace in Greece, and we could go on and on. I know Iran and Armenian complained about their troublemaking to the U.N.

 

The present election was no election, because half the nation was not represented. The candidate who tried to represent them was threatened the way Yanukovich was when he left the country... as well as the representatives who were not willing to go along with the junta.

Ukraine is a nation divided between the Russian leaning East, and the U.S. leaning West. Victor Yushchenko the president before Yanukovich, was Western Ukraine's favorite son, and Yanukovich was the East's favorite son, so the election was closely watched by international observers.

When Yanukovich found that it impossible to accept the IMF terms and turned down the E.U., The people from Gallicia with the encouragement and instigation of the U.S., began to violently overthrow the government and Yanukovich was forced to leave.

To understand the mentality of the people we support, you have to know who Bandera is, because he is their hero.

You didn't respond to my questions. Argue as you will that it's not so, have you considered the possibility that the majority of Ukrainians may prefer the current government to the alternative? What would you say if a fair, monitored election proves that to be the case? If your answer is that no such result could possibly be legitimate, then you've been arguing in bad faith. The will of Ukraine is the will of the Ukrainian people, not your will, or Russia's.
