I argue that the problem isn't any particular group, but the sheer numbers changing the culture. If we had taken in 30 million Chinese, we'd still need to reform immigration to bring the numbers down, to allow for assimilation and integration into the culture. And the Chinese wouldn't be forming a new underclass like the Mexicans are. But they would still be speaking Chinese, practicing their own rituals and traditions, and forming their own separate society within the US that wasn't assimilating and not integrating. Balkanization is the description of what happens when you have two or more different ethnic groups competing for the same space.
