There is no russian troops in Ukraine, the peacekeepers in Crimea saved it from the shιt that currently goes on in Donbass, and incident around South Ossetia was sorted long while ago, between Georgia and RF, through International Court of Justice.

 

When and how long did Crimea remain a part of the Russian empire? From 1783-The Soviet Union Collapse. (This would be no different than Mexico taking Georgia "Just because". And I guarantee you the US and Georgians would be taking up arms against them, no differently than the Russians with the Ukrainians)

According to referendum - YES, majority wanted to leave Ukraine after the government was toppled by coup. It did not happened out of blue, I remind you - people were DYING in Kiev.
