    It's sad because, before Trump, he was one of the most consistent right-wingers in the Senate. I rarely agreed with his votes, but always had to admit that they were based on principle.

    I don't actually call for the resignation of any of them. I think that's up to the voters. I think they should be recalled. But it's up to their constituents. Unless they commit a flagrant act of sedition. Which I believe might be the case with a couple of lawmakers in the House. I think there are only "rumors" at this point, but if it's true that they helped the mob perpetuate the assault, that would definitely be grounds for removal. But, as far as what we know at this point... maybe a vote of "censure" for the acts of Cruz and Hawley would be in order.
