Such is not relevant when they are being torn down in the name of destroying confederate monuments. If those responsible for the destruction cannot tell the difference between confederate monuments and non-confederate monuments, it does not matter what the perception by others may or may not be.

 

It most definitely does matter. Your argument is akin to saying, "We can't destroy Nazi monuments because some people will use it as an excuse to tear down every WWII monument."

One can agree that confederate monuments need to be removed without endorsing the efforts by some to mistakenly or intentionally destroy monuments that are objectively not confederate monuments.

 

We should not take down any monuments until the democrat party has been properly dismantled. They are the ones who put up the monuments.

 

And yet such is not being done. No effort has been made to put a halt to the removal of monuments not related to the confederacy.

The way some folks want to control even the smallest details of the every day lives of others, is just unhealthy. Learn to mind your own business and you may even find that you can communicate more intelligently.

The mental deterioration we see among the opposition, from Biden to Pelosi to the rank and file, it's disturbing, but it's also preventable. Work on bettering yourselves rather than yelling and screaming about how you can't control the minutia in the lives of others.
