Yes, that's true but the tone was set with malicious accusations from the start. Again, ask yourself: What did those words accomplish? What constituency was served by them? The only thing Pelosi did is accomplish what Mitch couldn't to Obama, even if it meant adding to the political fire.

I pray that the Democratic Caucus one day looks to the future for new and fresher leadership.

 

I can only hope the new administration continues the attacks on Trump. It will delay their taking more of my money.

Of course it does. The professional standards required to write for a conventional political magazine with a national audience - which are corollary to the standards that such a magazine has to meet, in order to exist - is all the evidence that I require. Your claim is that the journalist is a liar. That is obviously the novel claim; so burden's on you. I am enjoying watching you try and squirm out of it, though.

I suspect in the coming weeks we will read many more accounts from staffers who will happily attach their names to these kinds of testimonies. And a great many GOP Senators and MOC who no longer fear Trump's wrath will give their honest, negative opinions of him.
