A biography of Islam on the DoD website mysteriously vanished after discrepancies about his past came to light, from writings by Claudia Rosett of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies.

One of the reasons the Muslim Brotherhood enemies in the Pentagon went after Coughlin is because he was correctly doing his job by going after them.
