Bwahahaha!!! Then, why didn't we become the Taliban in 1915? You are being just a tad melodramatic.

What I do see is a great deal of reluctance on the Lefties to turn away from the lurch to the Left that started in the 1960's.

Seems that buying guns online has become the mass shooters preferred method of purchasing their guns. Maybe its time to start tightening legislation for online gun sales.

That might actually save some lives.

When does government not take the next step? Did welfare start out as a mass entitlement program? YOU can trust the government to limit itself, I don't.

What about your faith in the marketplace and the free market?

I was AT home. You don't need a range where we lived. My targets were coyotes and the occasional mountain lion. You knew you aimed right when they dropped.
If you didn't aim right you had a pissed off coyote snarling at you. So it taught you fast to be good.

you are dodging the question about how many rounds you shot off as you practiced.... clearly you have to understand that the more practice, the better you become. If you want people to be responsible with guns, why make the price of ammo so high that they never get to practice? Do you want the first shot to be in a crowded movie theater ( crowded restuarant, gas station, etc).

No, they should not waste their time on it. Take a cue from the existing "murder control" as to how well laws impede those willing to break them. Dont waste the time.

I don't think that the government censoring movies is the way to go, but how about Hollywood take some responsibility on their own? Actors like Clooney and Matt Damon are part of the left wing gun control crowd, but if you watch movies like The American or the Bourne movies and you see them shooting it up on screen, then the Hollywood liberals go after the NRA when a tragedy happens.

They could try to, but no bill would ever pass because the conservatives would block it every time.

Because they care more about owning fancy shiny toys than about saving lives.

Gun control doesn't save lives. Some of the most violent cities in the U.S. have the most strict gun laws and those laws don't do a (*)(*)(*)(*) thing to save lives.

The only thing they should do is loosen laws in areas where good citizens cannot be armed. That criminal in the theater should have been shot in the head by an armed citizen.

No, they believe that if an intruder breaks into the house with their kids sleeping in it they have a right to defend their children, violently if necessary. They understand that intruders will have guns even if they government bans them.

The refusal to do anything at all about guns is proof enough.

I have no issue with people protecting themselves within their homes. I have an issue with guns on the street.

I was 9, give me a break. Of course I practiced. I shot the .22 almost constantly. I even slept with it. Begged my parents to get me more. With the 30-30 it was a little different. It had a kick for a 12 yr old so I didn't shoot it as much after I got the hang of it. And my Dad wouldn't buy as many shell, so I had to watch it.
But I think the question was would I PAY to go to a range. Sorry, not at 12. But I do now, and I don't need a super slurpie or whatever it was filled with shells
One clip always does it. I am a good shot. It's in the blood. My brother taught sniper school for awhile in Washington State.

You have an issue with the American Bill of Rights.

Foreigners and many libs in this country object to most individual freedoms like gun ownership .

They don't seem to care about the rights of individuals unless it involves lib mothers killing their unborn children or pornography.

But gun ownership is a basic right guaranteed in the Constitution.

well blame the liberals and their voting block, they are the ones who commit the most gun crimes on the street it seems. Zimmerman is a registered democrat and he killed someone on the street and might be guilty of murder. this nut who thinks he is The Joker is a OWSer, a liberal movement. and black gangs who commit shootings on a daily basis, you know who they vote for.

its not law abiding gun carriers that commit the crimes, its the lawless liberals for the most part that go around shooting people.

Has anyone pointed out that that old (*)(*)(*) Bloomberg is a hypocrite who has bodyguards armed with guns protecting him everywhere he goes?

It os pure fantasy to believe that if someone had a CCW, there would have been less deaths or no crime at all. In that type of situation, one would protect family first, others second. They would not go "in a blaze of glory" like what we see in the movies.

What happened in Aurora, not to mentino Columbine, Virginia Tech, Ms. Giffords, and other such incidents, will not deter crime with guns or with any other weapon. However, we have not had any serious, rational argument on why these types of crimes happens and it will not happen soon. Soceity today lives more in fear, not in spite of it.
