That AP "fact check" is really just an op-ed in disguise.

Advertisers regularly chose outlets that match demographics they are trying to reach. The total is not as important as the targeted number of people they seek.

The question remains. Did they recoup or exceed lost subscribers of their print product?

No doubt liberal rags are failing across the board. People can now access real data instead of tired propaganda...

You show the weakness of your argument when you resort to insult like this. We could just as easily call Obama Stalin and you a communist lemming and it would be just as well founded an argument, which is to say not at all.

The media are private companies. They don't have to cover anything they don't want. They're welcome to tank their ratings even further. In fact, they have my full moral support in doing so.

The media absolutely should cover these daily briefs, whether they should broadcast them unedited is another question. We have enough networks that each can make its own editorial decisions.

Personally I, probably would not broadcast them live without factchecking them first, so that you can have the factcheck data running in real time below correcting the misinformation, as the President tells his lies, or they can simply edit them out before airing.

Except they attract a large audience market share. if as you say, Americans are looking for facts and information but getting ‘nothing’ then why does he get the audience he does? The networks are under no edict to broadcast him and there is no Government broadcast network. If the private media Network stop broadcasting him, they become irrelevant. They are already distrusted by more than 1/2 of the public.

I’m not a fan of those shows but they probably have better survival tips than anything we could learn from a Trump briefing. How can someone who know so little pretend to have useful information to offer?

I think they have been terrific, good stats, good experts, rapid fire format, pence is really stepping up and showing why he was chosen as vp.

Media questions have been 80% good, 20% garbage.

My biggest complaint about the briefings is when the morning show cherry picks the worst part they can find and ignores the other 2 hours of information. The bias is clear.

The fact Democrats are trying to censor the briefings means the briefings are helping trump and America.

    It's really that simple.

Democrats are owned by the MSM

The MSM is subservient to china to maintain their access to the Chinese market. If a Democrat spoke out against China, they would be crucified by the MSM.

China is buying Facebook ads/memes to interfere in our politics and Democrats are silent.

Democrats whether they know it or not, play for the Chinese communist team.

The problem with editing them is that the media outlets lie too. They are especially adept at ignoring context to create a false narrative.

That can be a problem for the viewer . The trick is to watch more than one network to seen what they do with that briefing and read more than one editorial POV. When we reward outlets for giving us our own bias back with higher ratings, and then reward them when they give us melodrama instead of dry, cold news, then we cannot sneer when we have to do extra work to get the story straight. These are monsters we have created.

Rests on what? Stock quotes don't equal circulation. Looks like Soros is propping them up, it certainly isn't their circulation.

Gallup did a poll on 04/01/20 that showed plurality support for trump?
    Post it

    As for it dropping: https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_trump_job_approval-6179.html
He has lost over 6% (48 to 45.5) in less than a week in approval after a very large increase due to an effect called rally round the flag.
If he doesn’t catch the falling knife he will be back at his average approval rating of 45% within the next few days.

His average disapproval is 53.5%, the same effect mentioned above brought him to almost highs of 49%, he is down 51% in less than a week after this bounce. I am not sure were you are seeing anything falling like a brick that is positive for trump.
