Should Women Who NEVER Want Children Remain Abstinent Forever?

If a woman never wants to get pregnant, she could have herself sterilized. And yes, doctors WILL do it. I've known both men and women who had no children & never wanted any to undergo sterilization.

Unless someone is incapable of having babies...there is always a possibility of pregnancy with sex. A woman who does not want to have children can put the child up for adoption.

The problem is....that there is more involved then just the woman. It takes two. And the father might want to raise the baby. Which...if he does...then he is due child support. Because when you create a life you are responsible for a life. Sex comes with responsibility....in one way or the other.

Of course to avoid all that....abortion is legal and a woman can kill a life so that she won't have to be responsable for it. Because we all know...a woman shouldn't be hindered by a baby if she doesn't want to. End it quick before its fully developed into the human being its destined to be and she's a happy camper.

 

What is amazing isthat women are actually capable of not having sex ever and die old as a virgin. I can't understand how they do it. Don't women who have serious drug addiction get sterilized as per court orders?

 

Yup and abortion is a totally responsible choice regardless of how much you don't want to believe it is.

Or just abort it. There are heaps of kids up for adoption now, so the former seems more practical. Of course better family planing, education and accessibility to necessary knowledge and care are also good steps to reducing unwanted pregnancies.

Yeah, but keeping a child alive is neither necessary nor a 'responsibility' unless accepted.

And since there is nothing wrong with ending a baby's life, since the baby doesnt value its life itself, there is nothing wrong with abortion.

 

People go to China for babies....because they can wait years here. Yes, there are heaps of kids with disabilities or older kids who were taken from homes. But Babies are rare...so they are easy to adopt out.

That seems to be the attitude by a certain faction here and apparently throughout all of India who abhor girls and abort them like crazy.

Abortion is legal but it is absolutely wrong. Just because a society designates something legal does not make it right or ethical.

If you are good with this prohibition, but oppose illegal abortion, then you are clearly a proponent of abortion and are undeniably PRO ABORTION, encouraging its practice.

 

I think the better analogy would be never eating food because you don't want to gain weight. But that's stupid. Kind of like abstaining from sex because you don't want to be pregnant.
Most normal/healthy people don't abstain from food/sex.

Food is required to sustain one's life, sex clearly is not! Poor analogy.

A better analogy would be that you choose very carefully what you eat and eat less if you want to avoid getting fat, and you take every precaution available to you , including abstinence, if you don't want to face the inevitable natural result of sexual intercourse. However, you may get fat anyway due to genetics or hormone level deficiencies etc, just as you may get pregnant even though you try not to. Why does another person have to die because this happened to you because you took a known risk and the odds didn't stack up in your favor?

I loathe cheaters as my ex was one of those. And I could never be polyamorous or date someone who was. I don't like to share. Plus multiple partners makes for high risk sex which I am interested in avoiding at all costs.

 

Yeah I don't blame you there. It's extremely risky just being with anyone now days. I wouldn't be able to follow through anyway. I'm pretty weird like that. I can't/won't sleep with someone unless I have strong feelings for that person and they feel the same way. Don't really know what's up with that. And yeah, I have little tolerance for cheating. Thankfully it's never happened to me(that I'm aware of anyway).

 

If you can live with the inevitable guilt of committing a premeditated homicide agiainst a defenseless child, go right ahead!
