No doubt the Koch Brothers have stopped funding them and decided to send their support to more likeminded groups -- like Gaddafi's government in exile.

The real shame, which would be funny if it wasn't so tragic, is that they are mad and they don't know why. They are lashing out because their lives are so poor and they can't make decent livings. They blame the gays, minorities, muslims, etc for their woes. So they're pissed off. The problem is they don't know why it is happening to them, and who is there to say "We are mad too"? Well the very people who put the *********s in their sorry state. The GOP's wealthy, who give two sh!ts about other Americans, sit and confuse the *********s on wedge issues that they don't really care about. "No abortion" says Plutocrat Pete, "Keep the queers out of the military" says the the Fox talk pundit! The teapartiers feel vindicated and appreciated. So they vote in the wealthy that is working to gut them out of decent pay, working conditions, and social services. Plutocrat Pete tightens the noose a little more and the *********s wonder why life is so (*)(*)(*)(*) hard. They sit in misery as they fight for Plutocrat Pete's right to not pay taxes that would make their lives better. They loose a functioning government to wealthy tyranny.

Tea Partiers are just another incarnation of knownothingism which afflicts this country every 50 years or so. The xenophobia, the scapegoating, the fear -- it's all there.

I do blame the Democrats for not standing up vigorously and capturing the populist cause. Their failure to do so allowed the faux popularism of the Tea Party, paid for by billionaires like the Kochs.

Democrats need a gut check and need to stop worrying about being too progressive. Leaders lead, and this country needs to be led out of the dark days of Bush and his conservative policy failures.

 

I now some pretty awesome gay men and women. In fact my mom is staying with a gay couple right now until I go get her to bring her here to Texas. Great people.

I think that change is coming. If you notice things like Current TV starting and bringing on the Young Turks. Alan Grayson getting so much popular support and Elizabeth Warren going viral for stating something so simple and obvious maybe the counter balance is just around the corner.

 

When most if not all conservative politicians start a war, they want straight people to fight and die for them. After all, most conservatives do not join the military when there is war going on. To them wars are for poor people.

 

Maybe 2 boos were for the soldier and the other 2 were against those booing? How can you really say what people are thinking. Silly liberals, thinking they know what people are thinking when they can't eve pick up on what people are actually saying.
