Never ever overestimate what it takes for a male to get 'twitterpated.'

Good morning bar peeps and lookie loos.

Im reading how to stay positive when you encounter negative people in real life. Seems so many people are negative. Ok so here is what I got so far. Just incase you encounter a negative person who is determined to suck the life out of every living thing on this earth.

    You feel sorry for them.
Not like a, "you pathetic son of a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)", type thing. Like a," how terrible to think like that. Poor soul", type thing.

    You change the subject.
Just stay away from political, religious or any other everyday conversations. Talk about cotton. Everyone loves a good cotton shirt. Even life suckers.

    You distance yourself.
Just don't make distancing yourself look obvious. Like, don't turn quick to walk away and fall over something or lose a shoe from running so fast.

    Be happy and positive.
If they say something like, the clear coat is peeling off my car. You say, how lucky are you to have such good vision.

That's all I got so far. Try it. Let me know how it works for you. lol

Sounds like good advice, falena. Does this mean we should all leave this crazy place and spend our time on facebook trading recipes and housecleaning tips?

Ugh, cant do it. I'd rather die of a stress related illness than be bored to death.

No here is not the same negative as in real life. Not to me anyway.

Im talking the people who you are around or meet in everyday life, who constantly complain about everything. Its like so many people seem negative that when you bump into a happy person you think, I wonder if they would share what they are taking. lmao

Um ... I get it. Don't dare underestimate the power of overestimating.

Yeah... I pretty much avoid negative people whenever possible on real life. I encourage them to sign up on a political forum so they'll get 'likes' for pointing out how screwed up the world is.

LOL, if you can't tell, I'm one of those negative nellies today.

    Bah humbug.

    Wheres the tequila?

Speaking of tequila, hows Mary doing? You ever talk to her? I wonder if she is running in Boston.

Mary really is amazing and the fact she stuck with it is very impressive.
If you speak to her tell her I said hello and hydrate. lol

You can speak for me also. I don't run. Have no intention of running but I do clock the runners when I drive by them.

She { Mary } ain't here { at PF } but she stuck with running.
Whereas I am stuck here and can't seem to muster interest in running no more.
Or should I say ... anymore.

This ones my personal favorite. Ive used it a few times and it was pretty effective as far as ending the conversation goes. lol

"Buck up. Life sucks sometimes. You aint that special."

Im demure now, so my standard reply to anything negative is "interesting". It kind of confuses them enough to quick change the subject or walk away. I do the shoulder shug with it.

Try it. It works. I swear. lmao

I tend to favor, "Oh well." They get so busy thinking I'm a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*), they forget about their own sorrows for a minute.

It's the least I can do.

    Bless their heart. ;)
