    I used to work 80 hr pay periods all the time. Managed to pull one the last 2 weeks and I swear, it nearly killed me. I've gotten soft. :(

    'afternoon, folks. Happy Saturday. Had guys on a ladder in my den all day installing my new ceiling fan. Pain in the butt having to walk around 'em but it's finally up and it's bee-oooou-ti-ful!

    I got up early and went to the gym.

    (I started calling the 'john' 'jim' because it sounds so muxh better to say I went to the jim this morning!) ;)

    Contractor guy just came by w neighbor to talk about new carpet for my den. Hope this turns out cheaper than buying carpet from a big box store. Geesh, that stuff is like gold today. They want a thousand bucks to carpet this one room! We'll see if I get out cheaper with a 'connection'. Got plenty more work for Mr Lopez if he gets me a good deal.

    I remember a carpet installer telling me how important the pad is.That the pad
    is probably the most important part of installation. Chosing the wrong thickness of
    the pad could mean a bad carpet experience.I think the thicker the pad the better
    the carpet will act.
    Not that a carpet acts. Unless one picks the Oscar carpet.
    Made for one's pets in mind.
