    I just thought of this.

    Im tired of hearing some people wanting Columbus Day to now be Indigenous People Day. Fine I understand the reasoning and all but know what?

    Get your own holiday.

    We hang the Italian flag out on Columbus Day. We eat ravioli with brazole and have cannoli for desert. We go sit in lawn chairs and watch the parade and wave to all the old Italian guys driving Model T's. We wait for Joes Pizza float to go by throwing coupons for buy one get one free.

    I saw a cooking show about a restaurant in texas that specializes in
    Chicken Fried steak.Of course it isn't chicken.But nice ground round that
    a special tenderizer machine when put into like a conveyor belt even
    mashes the meat.It is proportioned at a certain weight.Then placed in wax
    paper until ready for the grill.The sauce is white and dollops of butter are
    applied during cooking.It is floured and grilled but the butter added makes it
    more tender and yummy.Man could I go for that most any night.That and a nice
    sized plopping of good mashed taters with that white sauce.
    It seems like a small restaurant and it's style of preparing the yummy dish
    has been handed down from father to son.But it's near full proof.

    Heya SMW [​IMG] we have some on and off rain to. But the temp is about 70 out there. All the leaves are starting to come down as well. Looked like it was snowing leaves out in the backyard.

    Unfortunately, I had to work all morning. I am digging the rain though.

    I bought my kid another saxophone today for his 14th birthday next week. He is playing baritone sax, alto sax, and now soprano sax. I think he wants to be a music major.

    Yeah it was.....and I wasn't going to help them thru any operational BS. Nor listen to them about it. Bad enough I had to put in over 10 hrs. I would have ended up being there even longer.
