I love it when ladies/women (SWF/MWF) have vodka on their breath.

@Smartmouthwoman I collapsed into sleep last night (Friday) when I got home from work before I could have a single drop of anything. Obviously I will need to make up for it tonight (Saturday) !!

So then if you found out that Manly Ladies like Bette Davis
and Tallulah Bankhead drank Bourbon, what would you think.?
In fairness, another tough broad { Joan Crawford } passed her time
getting soused on Vodka as her swan song.

Tough Saturday here. Feeling thrifty, so went to Aldis for groceries. Got everything on my list, went to check out and found a mob at the registers... their card reader was down, cash only. Waited about 15 min while they worked on it, no luck. Left my stuff, went down the street to Walmart and did it all over again.

Did I mention the heat index is 107 today?

    Grrrrrr. Sweat. Grrrrrr. Sweat.

I can see it now.YOU calling Bette Davis or Joan Crawford or
Tallulah Bankhead a " Tomboy ".In their Prime.
You'd be lucky to make it home with just a fat lip and black eye.
More like a couple broken bones.

In all fairness, Aldi registers in my city aren't much better even when the card readers are working. They seem to have an obsession with randomly opening and closing registers. It is like nobody is allowed to be the cashier for more than 20 minutes at one time.

Same here. The other thing I dont like about them is when I find something I really like, they quit carrying it. Two recent examples -- soft kaiser rolls and frozen hot wings. They stopped stocking the kaisers last yr and when i asked, they said they're seasonal. Wth is seasonal about a kaiser roll? They were back today... along with eggs for 75 cents a dozen.

Tell all your friends. Its kaiser roll and watermelon season. ;)

They do that to me with the onion rings the funyun knockoff type ones. "Oh they are just seasonal". The last few times they had them, they were not as good as when they used to first carry them, so I have just learned to live without. They recently remodeled ours and it is an absolute mess in terms of traffic flow. I shop there much less often because of that very reason. We are supposed to be getting a Lidl's soon so I am stoked about that. Larger, easier to get in and out of than Aldi's, and probably comparable in terms of imported goods and price points. The sign is just sitting there waiting to be unwrapped any day now. Store looks mostly completed.

Ive noticed theyre using more and more space for non food items like patio tables, copper bottom skillets, swimming goggles, plastic bowls, etc. Everybody wants to be a friggin dollar store. CVS and Walgreens are bad about that too.

Yep our newly remodeled store has a whole aisle down both sides dedicated to it which is horrible.....well except I did get some plant stands for practically nothing on close out.....but otherwise horrible...and THAT is the freaking aisle that clogs up the traffic flow in the store the worst which then clogs up the traffic flow at the registers. There are other things that annoy me like some cheese is here, some cheese is there, some cheese is way over yonder. Why can you not put all your cheese together, all your lunch meat together, all your sausage/bacon together in the same area for Christ's sake.

Make your own onion rings. Those would probably be much better than any that you would buy at the store.

Meh that would require work. I would rather just open up a bag and start chomping.....I am migrating away from fried food, snacks, processed food, etc. Soda is still my achilles hill but I am down about 3 stones in three years and hope to be back at my high school senior year weight by this time next year. I just bulked up way too much and it is a little slower losing muscle than fat in a healthy way.

Not everything from China is crap. But close. Not close enough to
actually see and feel the difference.Which explains why the original
Wal*Mart pledge was to not have china goods in it's store.
But I guess if China is good enough for Donald Trump, then so be it.
Trump ties were made in China. As well some of Donald J. Trump suits.
