Panera Bread, Roasted Turkey with apple and cheddar, on cranberry-something bread.

The boss gets tetchy about getting smashed at lunch, so I'll forego the vodka chaser. :)

    Gag on pumpkin spice anything.

Some things are just not meant to be, and that is a violation of nature.

Today (Thursday 9/20/2018 Gregorian Calendar) is MY FRIDAY !!!

I have spiced rum in the fridge.

I have pure moonshine in the freezer.

I have white Pinot Grigio wine and red Sangria wine in the fridge.

I simply cannot decide on which one !!!

Did you (All of You All -- as they say in Dallas) know that the freezer is the only safe place to store moonshine since it is as flammable as gasoline?

I'll bet y'all did NOT know that.

    Yankees !!

So, for the next 2 days and 1 night I will be away in the Rocky Mountains looking for some good roads where I can find elk herds for the taking.

I cleaned out my Jeep Cherokee Sport and put the back seat down so that now I can sleep back there on an air mattress and in a sleeping bag and with a pillow made from a rolled up blanket stuffed into a pillow case.

I will have 2 ham and cheese sandwiches and 4 bbq roast beef sandwiches in my ice chest together with iced tea and bottled water and milk.

I'm bringing my 60x spotting telescope (you can see the rings of Saturn with it now at night) and my 10x15 binos.

The rules here are that you cannot bring any long guns with you if you are spotlighting.

My mountain bike lights are LED's and as bright as old time spotlights.

The elks' eyes light up in the dark.

I do get to bring my 45ACP since I do have a CFP which is good in about 30 states.

Does anyone keep moonshine around long enough for it to catch fire?

    Again ... No counting.
    No weigh-in's and no measuring.
    Just pure adulterated Moonshine.
As simple and harmless as bleach or ammonia.
    Or Antifreeze,if you will.
If Moonshine was so pure and natural why the need to find a
very secluded spot in some remote backwoods and QUICKLY brew
up a batch. With very suspect often rusty equipment like an old still.

    I wonder if anyone ever bothered to inform Jim Morrison { The Doors }
of that.He lived for his bottle. And his super tight leather pants.
Quite the performer.I read Morrison's Bio back in the
late 70's.He was lazy about going to class in college but he was
also a voracious reader.I,also, suffered the same lifestyle.
I went to college for 4 years only to flunk out.

Fabulous bday lunch with the divas today! The little cup is chicken broth w/small cheese biscuit to sip while studying the menu.

    20180921_120522.jpg
I had the Filet Caprese Salad. Excellent, and enough for a doggy bag supper tonite.

    20180921_122353.jpg

(The two mounds on the right are iceberg lettuce wedges with balsamic dressing. Beverage on top left is my bloody mary. Mmm, spicy.) ;)

Many restaurants let you choose meat and fish to add to a salad. Shrimp, steak, gyros, Salmon etc. for a fist full of dollars.
