I've tried it. It's just wrong.

There's two things that meat has no business mixing with: salads and omelettes.

I guess it depends on what ones' definition of a salad is.
There's Chicken salad and Egg Salad { No lettuce whatever }.
Ham Salad and also Antipasto where olives and chunks of
either tuna or good salami combine in Olive oil and balsamic
vinegar.Salad is more a generic term to mean mixed and cold.
Although German Sweet Potato Salad is traditionally served warm.

Most sportbikes rev well past 10,500RPM. Hell, the CBR250RR from 20 years ago spun to 19,000RPM, the power peak is over 12,000RPM. The little Ninja 250 spins to 14,0000RPM.

V-rods run 11's stock, and many of them run much faster than that.

Very, very Pretty. In fact ... Ideal. Fall is my favorite time of year
and Indian Summer the best week of the year.I usually manage to catch a
Woolly Bear crossing a road during Indian summer.Last year I wasn't so lucky.
    But other years I was.
The little hedgehog caterpillar is considered a somewhat reliable
forecaster of Winter. And how long or severe. If the Woolly Bear has a
very thick coat then it's going to be a rather harsh winter. If the Woolly bear
is travelling southbound also an indicator of a long or harsh winter.
It travelling Northbound ... not so harsh.
Now when and if the Woolly Bear decides to wander into some
heavily wooded area, well off any beaten path and stumbles en masse
on to a large metal shape { Still } and also manages to pitch a little
tent, then one knows there may be little winter.Just plenty of warm
nights and fuzzy dreams c/o of the vaunted liquid known to Some
men and beast alike as Moonshine.

We had a good rain. I was outside working on a new henhouse when it started. The drought monitor had us as "abnormally dry". I found some shelter and just watched the rain. I just fixed my cement pond and am in the process of adding plants and water. I am hoping we will go into our usual wet season soon. My garden just sits there. The rain will help. Got the henhouse done....finally. It seems like every little chore just goes on and on...

For lunch on Saturday afternoon (my Sunday however):

    - beef fajitas (premixed at the foodstore)

    - over rice

    - red Sangria wine to wash it down with

    - shot of moonshine (from the freezer) to chase it with.

Today is my preparation day. So I ran a few errands and stopped by my favorite food store on the way back home.

They had premixed fajitas for sale in the meat counter and it looked really good so I bought some. This costs $6.00 for a serving for two but in Mexican restaurants it would cost $30 for two. So I bought one.

I have tons of rice in my long term food supply so I decided to make rice to go with it.

First you cook the rice. This is always true when you have rice as your carb.

Since there is/was enough fajita mix for two meals, I made a double portion of rice.

About 3 oz of rice is one serving for one person, so I measured 6 oz of rice into a pot and added two times that of water, the basic proportion, two times the water for the rice.

Then I added some salt and oil and turned up the heat. When it started to simmer I turned down the heat as far as possible and covered it. About half an hour later the rice was ready.

Then I picked out the beef from the fajita mix and fried this in oil on the stovetop in a pan first. When it was brown, I added the vegies to it and stirred it up and then covered it. In about 10 minutes this was done. So finally I shoveled the rice over the frying fajita mix and covered this for about another 5 mins.

I divided this into 2 bowls and put foil over one and into the fridge it went.

    The other half I ate.

    Yum !!!

If you are in the 90's a 66 degree high and 50's at night it don't get much better.
You could be living in a tent, that would suck.

We are now in the 80's in the daytime and 50's at night.

I mostly just see the night times. Not the daytimes.

    I sleep during the day.
