    You'll likely get a reply.

    Hey, in the mean time, here is a link you might like to have a look at. They offer a very wide variety of prints/posters/art...

    ~ AllPosters.com ~

    If you find something you like, you can also select from many framing options, which are quiet reasonably priced (considering custom framing isn't cheap).

    I have purchased several prints from them, utilizing their framing dept., and they are excellent. The quality is superior to what I have received from a couple of local framing shops. They arrive via ups, safely wrapped and secure...and in a timely manner. I assure you, it is a great company to deal with. ;)

    I think a buck sounds like too much. I'm thinking $.49 or something like that. You're not kidding about a buck going a long way. It wasn't in the 60's but my first little job when I was 16 payed me $20. I put gas in a car I saved up for, paid insurance on it, had a Christmas club that I saved money every week and still had enough money to buy pot.

    You talk to Farra at all? I have asked a few people here how she was doing or if they heard from her and no one has. I seriously hope she is alright. I know she said she had some problems.

    With proper socialisation, training and treatment, there's just no reason for that to happen. In fact, it's considerably less likely to happen than me being hit by a car or something, and the risk of that's not going to stop me from crossing the road!

    Also, if you know how to 'read' a dog, you will have ample warning if something is about to happen. There's always a reason and a warning.
    Same with cats. They let you know, and aren't as unpredictable as people say they are.
    With all my years of dog rescue, I have never been bitten. Had a few mishaps, all my fault.
    I.e., one rather large G. Shepherd loved to carry 'sticks' (often the size of large tree branches), and almost knocked me out with one...stuff like that.(had a large bruise across my face)
    Treat an animal with the respect it deserves, and you will be treated in kind.

    Dog joke... well, kinda....

    So, one night after being out with his buddies drinking, this guy comes home...
    He is very hungry, and in the dark he fumbles through the cupboard, finding a can of something, eating it and stumbles to the sofa and falls asleep.

    Next morning, awaken by his GF, he comments on the great taste of the corned beef hash.
    His GF, (still angry), said "what the hell are you talking about? There was no corned beef hash in the cupboard!" "That was a can of dog food, you dumba**!"

    He replied that he didn't care, he liked it, and asked her to purchase more from the market. She thinks to herself... what the hell.........

    Anyway, that afternoon at the market, she takes a case of it to the cashier for purchase.
    Cashier remarks "you must have a big dog."
    No she says, it's for my BF.

    The cashier replies, he can't eat that stuff, it'll kill him!
    GF answers, "hey, he insisted I buy it for him." .....

    She continues buying it for a month or so, each time the cashier remarks the same.

    .....

    So, one day she goes to market, but doesn't purchase any... Cashier says "no dog food today?"
    No, she replied, my BF died.

    Cashier said... "I told you that stuff would kill him!"
    To which she replied........

    "The dog food didn't kill him. He was hit by a car, while sitting in the middle of the road licking his balls."

    ~~~~~~~~~~
    Okay, either find the humor, or forget I posted it. Don't shoot the joker, please! lol
    If I am going to have a dog, it is going to be medium to large. People think twice about breaking into your home or messing at all with you when you have a dog big enough to do some real harm
    And they are a lot smarter than little ones.
    My last was a Labrador/Samoyed cross...smartest dam dog I ever knew.
    I do indeed have a pet snake:
    [IMG]
    They don't meet! Don't worry - Yorrick reached a fine old age, and died peacefully in his sleep.
    This is Shylock, the current rat in residence:
