That was one of the smallest horses I ever seen win a Derby.
    I small colt it t'was.
First ever win for the 19th post,I think.
The name came about when ... " wife asks him if wants more of her
    fresh-baked cookies ."

Good morning folks. Seems like those setting down to the the table here in the morning to get some grub are getting to be less and less these days. Guess my cooking just aint what it used to be I guess. Well anyways for those that are here just go right on and help yourself.

Have a really great day folks.

'mornin, all! Great b'fast, OT! Something for everyone! Cold front (yeah right) blew in last night so hopefully things will cool off around here. Over 90 yesterday... and that's too dang hot!!

Thx for the juleps, Gypz! Most notable difference w/o gs is my grocery bill! Hope his g/f can cook... the boy can certainly eat! (I know, I know... at that age... they can live on love!)

Morning y'all..........busy, busy, busy. Printing commissioning programs this morning. Great birthday get-together last night for the oldest and youngest sons. Greatest thing...Elijah spotting me when they got there and running, arms open wide, grinning to his Nonnie....:) Little toot, thinks the pond is his personal swimming hole. Boy, is he going to have to be watched now...LOL

He posted some about it a while back, Foolie. He's had some health issues but has turned out not as bad as first thought. A good thing.

    How are you doing?

Like take today for example.I wanna get some chores done around the house
but I can't get motivated.I'll eventually have to do them, anywho,on account
I live alone.I just ain't a gonna push myself.I did that years ago before I reached
Enlightenment. Then I stopped and took a deep breath and realized that I was
literally knocking myself out for no good reason. The most important thing in Life is
Health then Happiness.Which some days is a chore unto itself.
We have a shortage of Happiness in Life today. It's hard work actually.
Dennis Prager has a Happiness hour once a week on his Talk Radio Show.
Happiness is knowing how to count yer blessings and learn how to enjoy the
simplest of things.Like a Nice Day outside.A Good meal.Things going according to
plan.No abrupt surprises. Not gettin' ripped off at the store.Listening to the Birdies
chirp and someone mowing their lawn.Sometimes a real quiet afternoon so
as to take a nap.Like what I'm fixin' on doin' right now.
