    Ahhh a hot toddy sounds wonderful..lemon juice, honey, water and whiskey. If that doesn't cure you it will make you less aware of being sick..

    Going to work sick is not job security when you pass around your germs and cause other employees to miss work. I hope that lady apologized to you for invading your space with her germs.

    A toddy sounds real good right now and I'm not even sick! It's been cold and rainy here for the last 4 days. Sun finally came out this afternoon, but tomorrow isn't supposed to get outta the 30's... same Mon & Tues. If I wanted prolonged cold, I'd move up north. Guess I should be happy it's a dry cold...except I'd really like a snow day off from 5 in a row next week. LOL

    Just what the doctor ordered...

    Yes, you're sick, but it's another page of the story.

    Here's my favorite Hot Toddy. I love the simplicity of home remedies. Here's my
    Mom's recipe. It took years for her to perfect it.

    1 LARGE bottle of Bourbon.
    Honey, in jar.
    Lemon still peeled.
    1 Large glass

    Directions
    Pour Bourbon to the rim of the glass so nothing else can possibly be added
    to it.

    Take the honey and put it back in the cabinet.
    Put the lemon in the fridge.

    Drink. Repeat.

    Hiya Sweet Mouth Woman. The gigs were fantastic. The first three were my friend
    Gary, piano, and myself, bass. We work very well together and create "arrangements
    while you wait!". The last two were with the "Ingrid's Band". Lots of fun.

    Words? Do songs have words?

    I was home by 11pm.

    It's fun being in the playoffs again. Been a long time and we're FINALLY getting a little revenge on the haters.. who are still circling like buzzards waiting for the kill. LOL

    How was your first Monday of the new year? Just like the last Monday of the old year or did it feel different?

    Mine felt different... hopeful, even. Of course it will only take a day or two and I'll be slapped back to reality.
