    McConnell?

    Eric Cantor?

    Rand Paul?

    Louie Gohlmert?

It sure as hell isn't the Speaker of the Republican-controlled House of Representatives...is it?

    :)

The right has been leaderless for a decade or more.
It's why we are in this mess, no one on the right has a back bone or the stones to lead.

Didn't say "America"....apparently the leaders of America are the Democratic President of the United States and in Congress, the Democratic Senate Majority Leader.

So...who's the leader of Republican Party in DC?

BTW, you're here as often as I am....so apparently YOU have no job either by your own theory. Have a nice day :)

Well come to think of it, it's been about 20 years now and he was ran out of the House and nearly into prison, newt ginrich.
So maybe the right has never had any real leaders.
raygun was an actor playing the part of a 'leader', so that doesn't count.....I can't think of any republican leader since maybe Ike?

I've done my share of bashing Boehner. But seriously, is anyone all that surprised that Republicans aren't backing him on his give away plan B. It is time to hold the line. Insane spending is out of control and only adolescent minds think the fault belongs to the rich.

Boehner knew he couldn't get support, but he had to show everyone that he tried. It puts things back in Obama's court where he has to explain why spending over a trillion bucks a year more than we bring in is a good idea. For some reason he's done it four years straight and the people voted to have him keep doing it.

Boehner's hands are tied. That is a good thing.

The will of the people. I think that's what's holding up the taxation.

Polls show "the people" want a tax increase on the wealthy. "The people" are NOT a lot of gerrymandered radical Red State Tea Partyers who think a millionaire paying a few points higher taxation is "Marxism".

Again....gerrymandered Repubs who are so radical they think Ike was a Commie.

BTW, Repubs lost a net eight seats last month. And the people kept the Senate and the White House safely in Democratic hands.

True and only the criminally stupid thinks anyone is blaming the rich.
Plan B is a failed attempt to 'save face' and shift the blame, nothing more.
Time for the right to grow up.

The ball is still in the republicans court, nothing has changed, the tan one failed, the republicans have painted themselves into a corner and they are going to have take a bite of the crap sandwich.
The republican party has been taken over by nut jobs and the GOP needs to rein them in or get rid of them period.
than tan man will take the blame, rightfully becasue he isn't a leader, he's a drunk.

I sure can't think of any. In fact it's hard to come up with a republican that hasn't had to resign in shame or indictment in the last 30-40 years!

No Tom Delay made sure that Repubs got elected in "safe districts" where they didn't have to appeal to moderates.

So....Boehner got himself a handful of nutjobs to deal with.
